Definitely looked awkward, defensively. His distribution and dribbling out from the back were good though.

I've always liked Welsh so it's no slight on Nawrocki, who has had such a stop/start season, that he looked a bit more comfortable when he came on.

He needs game time, though. So, let's persist with him for now. Especially with CCV back there. Hopefully still finding his feet after another injury layoff.

I think his ceiling is pretty high I just dont really want to risk it in the last 5 games. We need a stronger partner for CCV but okay with him being a backup.

He’s definitely better than Scales but I didn’t think he looked comfortable at any point on Saturday. Actually sat and watched him pretty closely and I thought Olusanya gave him a tough time at points although he is quite an awkward one for a centre half.

One thing I will say and i make the point continually is he isn’t suited to our style of play. I don’t understand why you would sign a centre half for us after watching him and he quite clearly doesn’t like defending 1 v 1 or in wide areas.

Nawrocki seems to have that awkward thing at times that Starfelt had when he first came in, that he seems to get himself involved in things that makes you nervous.

His on the ball value was evident, his passing is good and crisp and he often does it quickly and showed a couple of good ball carries too. It is hard to judge with him being so in and out the team.

Also worth noting that Olusanya is a pretty awkward player to come up against domestically, he is quick and strong. No world beater but a decent player.

I thought he grew into the game today and looked decent.

There is more to the story why he gets so little game time.

Thought he done fine, I really like his distribution but think he looks pretty wooden and stiff in his movement sometimes, like a Minecraft character.

    Not for me.
    Thanks.

Nearly cost us a goal at the back post when found himself nowhere near O'Hara - who probably should've scored.

Some nice enough glimpses on the ball when not challenged, but it's far from enough.

We can't afford to have any ticking time bombs at the back (same goes for Scales) if we're looking to improve (especially in Europe)

It’s meant to be fitness, injury prone apparently. This has meant he struggles with the intensity of training without breaking down. Don’t know if true but has been said a few times.

He's not played for however long. Hard/wrong to judge.

Thing is all our CBs are better when paired with CCV..

We need to sign a LCB that doesn't need CCV to look good, they need to be class in their own right and form a formidable partnership.

Nawrocki and Lagerbielke haven't played enough to make a reasonable opinion on how good they are, but it's clear Brendan doesn't really rate either, especially Lagerbielke.

Good going forward with the ball and some good passes.

    Not so good defensively.

And that's only against a non pressing opposition when he's got more than plenty of time

I was impressed by him. Made a goal saving sliding tackle too.

All of our centre backs look better next to CCV but he's the only one who's not had a proper run next to him.

Thought he was really good, solid at winning the ball in the air and made a brilliant tackle in 2nd half when the boy was through on goal. Spent a lot of the game covering for Welsh. Plus he’s far more comfortable on the ball and taking it forward than Welsh or Scales.

Thought he was OK yesterday considering the bombscare he was partnered with. Still not the step up we need moving forward. Defo need a quality cb to partner ccv.

Nothing about him strikes me as someone who will ever be better than 3rd choice.

He’s decent on the ball but I’m not convinced he’s a good defender.

There seems to be a lot of last ditch defending with him. It can look good but you shouldn't be in that position so often.

I appreciate he hasn't played much but I honestly think Scales and CCV is our best defence. We need to clear out all the back ups then try to replace the starters (I know we won't get better than CCV but that needs to be the philosophy).

Thought he was fine. He was aggressive in some challenges and his use of the ball is great.

Need to see more of him backs against the wall though. Probably where someone like Scales currently beats him
