Prefer Welsh tbh

 

He is aggressive and likes to step out, but naive at times. At one point in the second half he looked odds on to give a penalty away. Agree with the above poster, Welsh looks just that bit assured.

 

I thought we looked a lot more assured at the back when Welsh came on to be fair, but I do think Nawrocki was excellent bringing the ball out from defence, an area where Scales struggles the most.

 

Welsh looked better, good to have competition though.

 

Welsh and scales are nowhere near good enough, we have barely seen nawrocki then theres lagerbielke who wev seen even less off.

Probably down to the conditions tbh was blowing a gale. I thought he played well though.

Yeah played well and speed of his passing was very good

 

Needs games before we can judge properly, some are up and some are down on him. I know he has been here a year but needs a run of games before making a call I think

 

Did well yesterday and game time will only improve his game.

 

Like his passing but he's very awkward looking when he receives the ball and looks like he's gor a mistake in him defensively..

 

So has Scales and Welsh though, Taylor has about 6 in him . Agree don’t think he’s the permanent answer beside CCV but like that he adds some strength to the side. Biggest worry for me is his pace.

Time to learn, with ccv next to him can only be a good thing, his passing and link up was good more he plays the better he will become

There is something about him but I feel like Welsh is the safer option.

maybe needs a run of games to get him going.

 

Tough call, stick or twist.
With only 6 or 7 games left, do we stick with Scales-who we all agree needs improving on but he has played nearly all games this season and has done reasonably well defensively.
Or do we twist, run with Nawrocki who potentially could come good?
Would it be too risky to change so near the finish line.
He does seem a tad rash to me.

 

Can do a job but never going to be a starter here. I would have Welsh over him and day. I actually think Welsh is a good defender.

 

Thought he looked pretty quick yesterday. Had a couple of sprints with their striker and won both and striker looked quite quick too
