Played well, passed the ball into midfield similarly to Welsh, through the lines.

I'd like to see him with CCV, Scales has done great, defended well and he's tidy usually on the ball.

Whats been missing I think though is the pace of play from the back. Scales plays quite casual and calm in the way he recieves and passes a ball, Starfelt played with a bit more purpose on the ball he'd take a touch and run up the park without thinking and added a bit more speed and movement to us to quicken things up.

Nawrocki brought a bit of that with just pinging quick passes forward through midfield at times.

Part of the reason we're struggling to open teams up and probably will again against St Mirren is the centre-backs distribution is now slow and safe, we miss Hatate bringing creativity and the movement and ability to run with a ball and then we are lopsided with only Palma really taking the game to teams from out wide - sometimes we'd usually have an attacking full-back or two wide players who do a lot but we've been playing with 2/3 things missing.

For not playing since August i thought he was class. Won so many slide tackles, calm in possession after the first ten and looks a unit. Would like to see him have a run in the team, we need someone a bit scary in the side

Thought he was very good when he came on considering he hasn't played since August.

Went to ground a lot but won everything when he did. Gave away a stupid foul for them to score though.

Done well, and should start midweek beside Scales.
But no way should Scales be dropped to accommodate him.
I would like to see a back 3 of CCV Scales and Nawrock but right now, I just dont think we have the players to play wing back if we go 3 at the back.

His first two touches were a * shocker, there was grumbles around the crowd with it, then he gave himself a shake and made sure to not let that effect him and to grow into the game.

Not match fit at all, so hard to judge off it, mentality though? He was brilliant, made sure he was not letting himself down.

I don’t think that was his normal style today though, that was guts and getting through. It worked but there was a few that I hope thats not how he plays naturally, he dived in about 4 times when you don’t want him to dive in - won the * 4 of them. Superb:56:

He was understandably rusty when he came on but he settled into the game well in the second half and put in a solid performance.

Thought his passing was good in the build up play for our second goal.

I thought he did well when he came on considering. It was a stupid freekick to give away for their goal.

He did throw himself into challenges too much. That's fine when you get the ball, but he will pick up lots of cards when he gets it wrong.

Spot on about pace of play from CB.

Ange had Starfelt constantly playing aggressive balls forward through the middle.

Whole team needs to be doing that again. No more safe possession against low blocks.

There was a pass he made in the second half where it was laid back to him and he just threaded it through the Rangers press into Matt O'Riley I think it was but the way he done it was * superb. Never even took a touch and he just bent it round into the space where Matty boy was.

Really excited to see more of him.

When he won the tackle on the floor. Got a laugh and a cheer.

Also good to know that the reason he hasn't been playing is because he's picked up issues when getting back to fitness, rather than just not being fancied by the manager.

Thought he was brilliant considering the lack of game time he has had, you could see the longer the game went on the more comfortable he looked, hopefully he gets another run out against St Mirren.

His lack of pace is a bit of a concern. Always love seeing a good slide tackle but it’s not something good centre backs should need to do on a regular basis.

    Hopefully just rusty.

Feels to me he slides tackles at certain points as he has to to make up the ground and doesn't have the pace to do it. Not that sold on him yet.
