    I asked about the transfer of Maik Nawrocki from
    @LegiaWarszawa
    to
    @CelticFC
    and it was established that: there was interest from Belgium, Turkey and Italy, but concrete offers only from Celtic and Union Berlin


    Celtic will pay €5m (one source says €5.1-5.2m)


    Payment will be made in two installments

    Legia was to secure 15% of the ENTIRE amount of the next transfer

    The deal will be announced on Sunday/Monday

    I've spent a lot of time reading polish forums and news sites and this is what I can gather.

    - most fans think the fee is fair but a few are * as they see another juranovic situation where we will sell him for a greater profit.

    - Maik has great potential and his form can be inconsistent. He has been rested for games due to dips in form over last season. He is seen as their best defender but mainly due to his young age.

    - He is seen as a modern centre back that is great at bringing the ball forward. He excels at playing in a back 3 where he can do a sweeper role due to interceptions. It seems true that aerially he is not the best.

    - Afraid Starfelt level blunders can happen but he is young enough to improve. Many have said he has a great work rate and can recover mistakes.

    Needed. Excited to see him live.

    Debate now is who is 4th choice....Yuki, Welsh, Scales, or other???

    If I'm honest, cash in on Welsh and Scales. Put Yuki on loan to a Scottish team. And maybe bring in a young, Scottish centre-back from somewhere else in the league....is there one? otherwise a prospect from somewhere...
