Said that last night, was like a wee sandwedge over the top. Maeda should have done much better, his first touch was a shanner.

Was actually thinking during the game I'm sure it was White that elbowed Starfelt in the Ralston 2-1 game up at theirs which led to him wobbling and eventually getting sent off and how that was a positive for Nawrocki that he nullified him fairly easily yesterday.
Still think there will be games where he has more to do than yesterday but can only beat what's in front of you and thought be coped well.

He also carried the ball out from the back and broke the lines. That was important in its own right most games.

no Doubt about that part but actually defending and not being bullied was equally important and he was weak as anything at that aspect which is imperative for a CB

Looked pretty composed for someone so young especially a centre back. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Very impressed with him. Certainly a very solid debut.

Even if hed had a mare it would be too early to write him off. But well composed, some lovely passes.

Not gonna get too excited, but genuinely hope we've unearthed a gem.

His passing was sketchy but he’s not going to be perfect right off the bat, he was also constantly being shouted at from Rodgers to get closer to CCV when he had the ball, he was pushing to far into the full back position. All things that will be ironed out.

Looks confident taking a step into midfield which is a good sign.

Thought his passing was spot on. Amount of times he drove it into one of the forwards or midfielders feet through a tight space to get us out of our defence. Something we’ve lacked at times. Think he just needs to work on his aerial battles like others have said and he’ll be a monster for us

He put the baw out for a corner trying to pass to CCV right at the start which was a very simple pass and then lumped the baw out of the park second half right at the dugouts which was instantly (maybe coincidentally) followed by Rodgers whistling for Starfelt to come over.

Like I say can’t expect him to be perfect, the crowd got on his back a bit with the first one and being his debut it was uncalled for so fair * to the guy for putting in a decent performance thereafter.

And he put about 20 odd passes right into the feet of teammates some 30+ yards aswell so I don’t mind if he misplaced 2 out of all the other great passes he pulled off on his debut. Even the likes of the king range passes to maeda etc were exceptional. Think with him CCV and hopefully this new Swedish guy we’ll be solid at Cb. As solid as we’ve been for years there tbh

That pass to maeda in the box was the most beautiful pass of the game. I guess it depends what we focus on.

Not bashing him at all just pointing out he made some poor passes. I like the fact he stepped into midfield and looked to play a pass, he definitely has potential from the limited amount of him we’ve seen.

Yeah I thought was just mad cause for me his passing was something that stood out positively. Between that and him driving out from the defence a couple times is exciting and reminded me slightly of how Ajer used to drive forward. Surely he will iron out any mistakes aswell in the next couple of weeks

    His passing was class overall.

Sharp and fast, into feet and crucially doesn't look dead awkward on that side when facing upto a pass which was often a bug of mine with Starfelt.

On first viewing i really couldn’t tell if he was left or right footed looked very comfortable on both.
