Everyone was offered 3 roles, and their alignment was assigned based on whatever alignment they were offered the most. They then chose 2 roles to combine with their alignment, and the 3rd role is their discard which is shown below:

Why? It’s a game with unlimited combos. There is likely alien/serial killer and possibly werewolf so town cop only investigates one of many factions. If it was a simple mafia v town I’d maybe have considered taking that role.
but your experienced enough to know this, so by trying to highlight my discard looks like you may be diverting attention from yourself. After all you’ve discarded mafia strongman. A role not to be sniffed at -

I am doing nothing of the sort.
Mafia 2x Strongman is literally useless as a town player with no kill. Conversely, if I were scum, it would have been an extremely valuable role, which I would have chosen without hesitation.
There are very few roles more powerful than Town Cop, no matter how you cut it. -

Too early to be asking questions like that. If you want to keep lining me up to be targeted by scum I’ll be eradicating you from the game first chance I get. You normally do more harm than good in these games.
why reveal your character so soon? It’s almost like your trying to make yourself a safe early town read when there really is no need for it. 22 mins into the game -

I’m not cutting it anyway. I didn’t wanna be cop. Usually with cop you’ve to sit on info for a few night phases before revealing your role. Then you are targeted right after. The chances of me finding scum on day one or two are slim. -
