Mafia 22 - The Struggle for Power

Gangs as plural and mafia as a generic reference to scum factions

 

The thing going most in Che’s favour for me is that he’s not new to the game, he knows discarding doctor will bring heat into him in a game like this and he still did it.


It’s unfortunate for him that he’s the only person to discard a good town role.

 

Any ideas as to what the split might be?

I’m guessing 11-5-4 or 13-4-3 but it’s really hard to guess with all the discards.

 

Was looking at this myself seems to be quite a lot of scum faction discards..and a SK too.. 12-4-4 and another SK seems right? But I guess it would be lucky to get it that even if all roles were random..

There was more mafia discarded than gang so that makes me think the gangs will have at least a 1 person advantage over mafia. Could be completely wrong of course.

 

With 20 players you’d think at least 12 are town.

 

Who the * the scum faction? Mafia/Gangs or town?

 

Game is based on The Wire and The Sopranos, the gang is wire characters and the mafia is soprano characters.

They’re both scum.

there are a handful of Town roles I’d consider powerful, the fact only one has shown in the discards is good for town.

I’m finding it hard to trust you though as I feel you’ve given the typical spiel about having a powerful Town role and how it would be terrible for Town if we took you out at this stage.

You’ve said that we can lynch you later in the game if you have failed to take out Mafia. You seen confident of surviving late in the game as long as you’re not lynched...

It doesn’t seem like you are bothered that the Gangs and Mafia are watching this all unfold and have saw you claim a very powerful town role - which paints a target on your back.

I don’t think we will lynch you today but if you survive the night then it’s going to look a bit suspect tbh.

 

No liking posts Valhalla as far as I’m aware.

 

I would hope to have made a difference by day two if I reach it. If I draw suspicion after that then fair enough.
I will be judged by my actions and my actions will have to be helpful to town.

 

I think there must of been at least 2 solo roles offered, most likely SK as it would fit the theme with Omar from the wire.

 

Sorry Marie, but that's not something a town person with a very powerful role would come out with on the first day.

I'm putting that down to a rookie mistake.

I just put it down to a new player in the game sharing too much information too soon.

I don’t think she’s double bluffing us at all.

 

I was hoping that comment was going to go under the radar as I actually think she has a good role and didn’t know to keep it quiet. Suspect she will be targeted at night now.
