    How does protecting Minty and there being no kill imply Minty is mafia? Shouldn't it be the exact opposite?

    If you're telling the truth then I believe Minty must be Mafia, as he would not have been a target imo as he has been pretty chilled so far.

    He ended up being town but I had niggling doubt through game that he was Mafia.

    Bob could be bluffing imo. He is very good at this game and has only decided to start posting once suspected.

    with likely 5 Mafia in play we could be lynching a town member in Minty, and if Bob gets his wish, protecting a Mafia, which would then be gifting the Mafia a free night kill.

    It could very well turn out 5 vs 5 if we get this wrong here.

    That said, it would be a very ballsy move to fake a role when someone else could actually have that same role.

    Maybe I'm over thinking.
