Magic has struggled for form since the start of the season, but I still think he is the most natural finisher at the club.

If he worked as hard as Miller to get into good goalscoring positions, he would definitely put away more chances than Kenny.

Striker A: "Doesn't work hard enough", scores twice. we win the game 2-1

Striker B: Works his socks off, 4-5 super chances, doesn't score. We lose 0-1

    What do you prefer?

If Magic worked as hard as Miller, Miller would get the sack immediately. He would look like a window dummy next to Magic. Miller probably has started every game so far and scored as much as McManus, twice.

Magic has got a different character, he needs WGS's trust. he should let him start in 4-5 following games.

Thats a cracking point m8, i mean look at the orcs, they have Kris Boyd who does * all but score. We have that in magic, but his link up play is slightly better, all strikers need a run of games.

Miller also has exceptional pace, great at getting lost cause balls and is skilled at high speed twisting and turning to keep the ball and attack in wide areas. Its not just raw effort. But I agree with the basic idea that Magic is a more natural poacher and if you took the good points from both strikers you would have one great player. What is their all-competitions games played-goals scored tally/ ratio for each this season (not countimg the friendlies) anyway. I dont think magic has exactly been a goals machine this season either.

That's true mate! Magic is a kind of player who needs to feel the backup from the choach and fans and of course team mates. When he came to Wisla Cracow it took him months before he started to be a goalscoring machine and the one and only team leader. The team which was winning everything in Poland and made a great impact in euro cups winnings with VERY strong european teams... thanks to Maciej.

Same thing was when he started to play for national team. months... MONTHS of * game, no goals etc. and suddenly he started to fight and lead the team to the WC.

Why? His character is strange... no doubt. When he feels that coach/team doesn't trust him he doesn't try because he is afraid he fails...

when he feels the backup then he becomes a fighter a tryer... because he knows if he fails nothing will happen...

It looks like Polish NT new coach - Leo Beenhaker knows Magic very well. Guess what he did when he started to work with Poland. He gave Magic captain's armband. Why? Coach put his trust in Magic because he knew it's gonna give him a boost. And so Magic plays very well in NT...

but to be honest i don't think Magic will ever have such backup from WGS as Miller. Why? Miller is Scottish... don't get me wrong.. it has nothing to do with racism... it's natural thing

What, even worse than Lennon Kerr? lol

Anywany, i see what yous are saying about Zurawski (i point blank refuse to call him 'mag*c' by the way) having a different character. It's true, but you need to have a certain mental strength to play for Celtic, and MZ just doesn't have it, as all of you admit. He's a good finisher when he's on his game, but why the * should we sit and wait for him to come out his shell when there's other players waiting to get a game?

To me he is a waste of space and the sooner we get rid of him the better.

Imposter? You better * believe it!!! :shamrock:

nobody says you should wait for him. the same goes to WGS if he wants to buy a new striker and sack Zurawski or whatever... if he thinks it's better to have a player who runs on the pitch and don't know how to score a goal standing in front of the empty goal... it's his choice... i don't care

Aye, ok mate, whatever you say. You obviously love the man and are looking at it from a biased point of view, being Polish and all. But listen, Zurawski isn't the only STRIKER in the world who knows where the goal is (funnily enough). The only thing imo he brings to the team is good finishing, so when he can't even do that and doesn't have the mental strength to grit his teeth and show he's WILLING to try like a * (a la Kenny Miller) im sorry but he's labelled a coward and an imposter in my book.

I'll gladly keep Boruc tho, im eternally grateful to your country for blessing us with his amazing talent :celt_2: :shamrock:

no mate I'm not gay and I don't love Zurawski :84: seriously i like him but he's not my fav player or something (I can show you celtic players that i like more than him) if you have ever read my previous posts you probably know that i was criticising zurawski many times.... it's not like you think it is. I've just said what's wrong with Zurawski in the mental point of view... that's all... If WGS wants to play Kenny then it's his choice. I only hope he'll start to score goals... ps. who had sig with miller on it few weeks ago? ;)

Of course I'm polish and i would like to see Magic doing well in hoops but... i'm celtic fan ... not zurawski fan... of course i don't want to compare myself to the fans from the isles but i want to see celtic doing well

With that argumentation you could point out any celtic player. Examples: YOu need to have finishing skills to play for celtic, Miller doesn't have it. You need to have a basic health to play for celtic. Beattie, VoH are injured all the time. etc

The main point is, we all know Magic is skilled and good enough for celtic. He proved it last season. It's a mental problem right now, which can only be solved with the help of WSG.

Secondly, some players, I won't write any names (otherwise you think I have started slagging off celtic players), don't seem to have the skill to play for celtic and their position. They have never proved it, and they prolly never will.

i have to say he is badly underperfoming. i've seen so many stunning performances by him and i just can't believe what i see watching him this season (previous season also wasn't his best). of course i can show you many better striker than him in europe but when he is in form he's dangerous and able to score screamers (i've seen a lot also against strong european sides)... i wonder if he ever comes back to his best...
