Took a few sore ones and that one where he decked it off the pitch looked nasty. Hopefully no injuries.

 

Luke McCowan came off, is he okay?

He was struggling with the top of his foot. I think he'll be okay. I think his foot was stood on. And he had a bit of pain and was sore for him. He should hopefully be okay.

 

So by that logic, should we be on the phone to his agent tonight telling him to sort a move because he was rotten today?

Absolute nonsense. He’s a valuable squad player, which is exactly what he signed up for.

 

Just never a started, squad player at best. Needs to man up too, on his * far too much. Needs too much time on the ball

 

He’s been involved in 4 out of 5 competitive games so far this season. Don’t think he’ll be unhappy about that

 

How can you take the next penalty and play it exactly like the * first, literally..

I know he didn't impress in his last start but for the love of * just give him a few starts in a row and see what he can do.

The midfield 3 isn't working

 

5 minutes to impress today. Good of Brendan that.

 

Its like the more we need a goal right now, the less minutes hes getting. Which is strange given he offers a goal threat.

Token sub today and under utilised against Almaty

 

Really think he can make some sort of impact if he gets some decent minutes. Hatate sub should have happened at least 20 mins earlier than it did to give Luke a chance

 

Barely ever done a thing when he's started..

Has a lack of pace and physicality as well which is part of the reason our midfield is already struggling. Balance is wrong and although he can chip in with the odd goal or bit of creativity, he isn't the answer for me..

We really should be active in the market for a couple centre mids tomorrow..

 

He's a must start, get engels on the bench , id start bernardo too ahead of Mr 11m

 

Thought he was lucky not to get on earlier. We could have used his energy in the middle of the pitch

87 * minutes was when we brought him on.

Last bump this thread had was sept 1st. McCowan deservers some cred imo. He have been good every time he have got on recently and for quite some time.

IMO he deserves to start games from now on. By Far a better option than Hatate in every single way possible.

 

The Green Brigade have offered Hatate a membership, as he boycotted the full game not just the first 12 min.

 

And still got into a great position to score the winner, although his shot was a heavy snider.

 

Thought McCowan was brutal yesterday when he came on and I don't think it's much of a coincidence that Kilmarnock start to take over the game after Hatate went off and McCowan came on.

 

He weirdly offers nothing defensively in the midfield. I say weirdly as when we played Dundee he was usually in amongst it and everywhere on more than one occasion..
