I didn’t know anything about him, my brother was really into him signing and made that exact comparison. Similar to when McGregor played further forward.

Classy wee player that has worked his * off to get to where he is, now he has the perfect mentor in McGregor who he’s definitely modelled his game from.

Type of player we’ll be reaping rewards from for the next 5 years.

One thing I notice about him is with the role he currently has, coming on for a bit of freshness seeing games out till the end keeping up the attacking threat… he has a freedom to just go out and play, and he couples that with working his * off.

I really like him, exact type of squad player I end up loving, and the exact type when he’s here for a while and settled ends up the reliable option and knows what his job is. Was a signing that was more curious than exciting, but one I’m quickly starting to love.

Brilliant ball over the top for Valle and very unlucky not to score. He has settled in well McCowan. Would have been easy for him to try too hard when given opportunities, especially being a fan. Really smart signing by us.

Granted I was half cut and could hardly see the park in the second half but he looked really positive when he came on.

Can tell he’s desperate to show he’s good enough to play with us and isn’t wanting to just be content with being here.

I didn’t realise he was a winger up until the last couple seasons either, that’s ideal with how wide our number 8’s play.

Another that will contribute hugely as the season progresses and he will get better each time he plays.

Terrific player, you can see he loves every minute of playing for Celtic.

That pass was sublime. To be honest I didn't know much about him other than I saw him popping up for Dundee this season, for a million quid he's a steal.

He fits into our system like a glove.

Was he on the bench yesterday? Couldn't have done worse than McGregor in there.

Thought he was excellent when he came on, made a big difference. Was far more reliable in possession than Reo and Engels.

Every chance we will look back and say he was the signing of the season.

Deserved a start today I thought and he showed when he came on, our tempo and energy immediately upped with him in there with Bernardo. Quality on the ball and works like * off the ball.

He made a massive difference by showing a willingness to get into space and receive the ball out other centre midfielders today were awful at it. An ability to properly position himself to receive the ball and knowing when to move it on quick and when to take it in and turn.

He clearly has a football brain on him something a few of the others left at home today.
