He does remind me of mcgregor tbh the way he plays at times.

Think it'd be a smart signing at that price and there's no reason why he couldn't contribute to us.

Thats part of the reason I want us to sign him, I could imagine him taking over from McGregor in 2/3 year and playing the deeper role in a similar way.

He is a smart tidy footballer, like those recent two Dundee games that were on TV you can just tell with the way he flicks a pass on without looking knowing where guys are running or turns on a ball or slows it down or passes and makes a run in behind and that that he's levels above these other guys on the park in these games and an intelligent player and he does everything pretty well, defends, attacks, moves about the pitch.

You imagine him training with us, growing in confidence, slightly improving by working with guys more his level of cleverness and getting used to having that around him.

He's not like a Hayes, Morgan, Turnbull, Allan and those types who have big holes in their game, he's well rounded and can get about the pitch and probably a level above them technically.

Even the wee guy Cameron who plays beside him, looks like he could turn out good but currently the difference between the two is like the same as O'Riley to Holm.

Everytime I watched him play, he looked really tidy and has a great ball on set pieces. For the price, alongside Engels I would be happy with him.

Also if you were to show someone that highlight reel of him and if it were someone even playing in Sweden or Croatia a league maybe not even as good as ours but comparable, folk would be really excited at the prospect of getting a bargain.

More I think about this the more I'd like to see us take a punt even to improve our bench options for the league.

While I think we can get better players than him I'm struggling to think of many home grown players we can get that are better. Any that are obviously better and would improve us would be be insane transfer fees and wages.

With that in mind I'd actually be ok with us getting him as a squad player. If he can impress enough to become a regular starter that's even better.

Brilliant rype of signing. He is better than any hun player and he would be our 2nd/3rd choice.

This was exactly my thoughts. Also saw the similarities to McGregor.

If he's an aggressive type of player would be a good addition to the squad.

Agree with the McGregor comparisons, always thought he was a very similar type of player. Some guys are just late bloomers. Wasn’t Vardy playing non league at 26?

As an association trained it would also allow a home grown club trained to leave as you can have 8 in your squad if him signing means Welsh or MJ leaving am all for it

That welcome to Celtic reel was impressive..

Better left peg than I thought. Lot of freekicks and corners on the money..

For some reason I thought he was a bit more attacking. Didn't realise he could play the deep lying role and beat men like that in the 6..

Would very likely be more effective for us there than Iwata..

Wonder how big our interest is though?

He was outstanding in a couple of games I watched him in and was hoping we would take note . At that money you bring him in.

Most likely be used to give McGregor a rest late on in games/between European ties , and if he flourishes the thinking may be he can take over eventually as he plays that deep role very similarly and is very good at SPFL level.

Would definitely take McCowan, very similar to McGregor and who knows? playing with better players around Him could definitely improve his game, for less than £1 million what do We have to lose?

Think it's more like lose Kelly and O'Riley, bring in McCowan and someone significantly better.
