Seemed to lose some confidence I think after those few penalty misses if my memory serves me correct. Didn’t seem the same after that

The one first time ball he played he was slow getting back on. Was crying out for a first time pass more than once before that..

Same mate, can't stand the *. Someone said ages ago (20 min tims possibly) about how he plays like he's always picking the best option to make himself look better. I can't unsee it now, he's a greedy, lazy looking *.

He should be 4th or 5th choice until he proves himself again. I think Brendan will get shot of him sooner rather than later.

Good and bad moments, much like Maeda today. Was a bit unlucky for the disallowed goal though, Scales delays the pass by half a second then it's all good, he was getting back. Good pass for Forrest chance too. Took a couple of bad touches and maybe could have played it a bit quicker a couple of times. Not a cameo worth slaughtering though

He just always gives the defenders encouragement to get a foot in.

Hope he’s punted in January. Never been able to take to him at all.

Palma ain't changing. Plays far too slow and laborious. Annoying because we all know he has good technique and is generally pretty creative.

He should be bursting a gut, as he's got another chance with the lack of quality out wide on the bench.

The more I see of him, the less I am impressed.
Winger is a priority at new year window.

Last season despite gametime being less than a lot of players in his position he won the back in the final 3rd more than any other winger/forward. Including Maeda and Kyogo who are * workhorses. Lazy players don’t do that.

For me he always goes for the killer option regardless if it’s on or not. And right now nothing is coming off, bereft of confidence * not working for him and the more it happens the worse it gets. He needs that one moment to get his back up and his confidence in himself.

Our fans go for his neck for some reason, I think it’s because he was Jota’s replacement and isn’t Jota. But for a point last season he was our only creative outlet, got a couple CL goals unlucky to not get a 3rd one, was very dangerous and his creativity dwarfed even O’Riley’s who’s output was insane.

But even when he changed it up and done an exceptional defensive job, playing for team majorly basically man marking and being an outball the New Year game against the Huns he got slaughtered for not being his creative self.

His attitudes been amazing for me, he’s came out several times and talked about how he knows how he needs to imprive, work for the team, and when you see him on the bench celebrating like * etc. I can’t see the accusation about him being just all about his own success at all.

I don’t know what’s going on with this guy, he has talent but appears to be going backwards, struts about like Billy big baws but constantly fails to deliver, if he doesn’t get his * together then he needs his fortune read.

Just give Yang the 10 - 15 min cameos we are wasting on this egotistical *

Would expect us to go back in for the Antwerp lad if he's back fit. The fact Rodgers spoke directly with him suggests he must of been a main target and likely still is.

Can't blame Scales here, we're always moaning that he doesn't release it quickly enough......

He's quite creative but for me he isn't a winger. No10 I think he'd do more damage. We don't play that way anymore though.

Good shout this. He's the perfect fit for the MLS, or similar leagues. Doesn't have the dynamism of physicality for us, or any similar European league, but is technically brilliant. Exactly the kind of profile the thrives in MLS.

I would dispute that he’s technically brilliant, he can strike a dead ball and has power from distance but his touch is poor and his general passing is average.

He is dangerous though, I just don’t think he’s a Rodgers type player.
