Now that MJ is gone we need a new scapegoat. Judging by this thread fans have turned on him so he'll need to do something special to get back onside..

Don't think he's a bad player but as suggested maybe just not suited to our system

 

He was already that by just after the winter break last year. Honestly insane to me.

3 stats about him for me stand out - he set up more chances per game than even O’Riley, and O’Rileys record is mad.


He scored 2 CL goals, matching Jota’s return and Joya was mad.


He has won the ball back more in the final 3rd last year than any other player, and Maeda, Maeda is * mad. So is Kyogo, he’s also a pressing defending on the front foot sorta mad. Palma was better at winning the tackles up there.

They 3 for me, shows just what he can be, with a bit of refinement he could be special. Honestly reminds me a bit of a right footed left wing rather than right style of Naka. Naka had that refinement though, he was already final product. Palma could be, think he’s matched Naka in the CL already as well from my memory anyway

 

Interesting stats alright..

 

Wouldn't be suprised to see him go before end of the week.

Currently 4th choice at best, maybe even 5th as Yang got on ahead of him last week. Signing of Bogusz will push him even further down the pecking order.

 

Be great to move him on .. getting him out and the polish lad in to compete with maeda for lw.

Even Yang seems to be ahead of him in the pecking order. Guess Rodgers must be scapegoating him as well.

Think we can all see there’s talent there. But he’s barely shown anything in about 9/10 months.

If LAFC are struggling to sell Bogusz because their window is closed, can we use Palma as makeweight in the deal? Like cash plus player.

Wasn’t sure if you could bring players in as an exchange. Probably not to be fair.

 

I'm pretty sure it's much like over here, after the window closes the only players ye can register are free agents.
