Luis Palma missed out on the match, having played 27 minutes against Kilmarnock last weekend.

(Palma) 10 days to a couple of weeks. I think when you watch the challenge back, it was a really nasty injury for him.

Then failing to hit the target with that chance that Bernardo laid off was criminal..

 

If we get a winger in he'll be away in the next fortnight.

Aye, was very promising but form has fell off a cliff since Christmas which has been reflected in his game time.

It's a shame, there's definitely something there, he was always good for a goal the first six months here but he hasn't played well since then.

 

I like him I'm not writing him off just yet

 

He's always going for a glory goal. I don't see him as being much of a team player......more as an individual looking for a kodak moment.

 

Similar to Turnbull in some ways. Does some things that makes you think we should keep him around but realistically, punting him would be for the betterment of the side in my opinion. (Boldly) assuming we sign a replacement.

 

Still think give him time.

Getting rid of Yang and MJ are more Important

 

Poor cameo, but he deserves until January at least to prove himself.

 

I like him but the fact Rodgers brings Yang on before him, tells its own story..

 

I think he’s a good player just lacking confidence the now and hasn’t really played since his injury. Which was months ago. Cameo wasn’t terrible yesterday just that first touch.

I think he’ll come good. We are the worlds worst for writing off players just to say there are amazing again after 2 good games. Same with Yang he’s hardly played but been * twice and some players twice already after a couple good/bad games.

 

This will be like a insult but he reminds me so much of the type of winger the huns hilariously sign season after season. A pleyer who can run with the ball but offers absolutely zero other attribute. Will never make it here.

 

That is harsh.. he scored a cracker in the CL v top class opponents and there was a spell last season when his goal contributions were very important. 7 goals and 9 assists not bad for last season. Injuries haven't helped him and I'm not sure Rodgers is a fan.. but don't compare him with them.

Palma's best quality isn't even running with the ball. It's his crossing and shooting ability.

 

Which aren’t great either.

He’s scored some nice goals and put in a fair few very good crosses/passes.

But given how often he attempts them, his hit rate is pretty poor.

 

Lately, yes. His form has dropped in general. When he came in, I thought he had the potential to be a great success, but he hasn't kicked on.

I'm undecided whether we should try to punt him now or not. With his CL goal and the one that got chopped off because of another player (Meada?) being offside, I think we could turn a profit on him.

I'd only let him go if we're bringing in another left winger that is significantly better.
