This doesn’t surprise me, when he came I into our team at the start of the season his numbers were very good. Even games he didn’t get an assist or score he would deliver a couple of crosses a game that were right on the money for someone to either make a mess of the finish or just stand and look at the cross and not attack it.

At that point if we had just a big target man who was good in the air he would have been scoring week in, week out.

There is no doubt his game dropped off significantly in the new year and he hasn’t contributed much since.

And third best rating there after O'Riley and the GOAT.

    Definitely a player there.

Maybe he lacks the mentality and arguably the work ethic of someone like Jota or even to a degree, Abada.

But it would be madness to get rid of him unless with our equivalent riches next seasons means we strike gold and can find 3 new Jota's come in

If I was confident in our scouting team, I wouldn’t bother if he was to go. I don’t think he is great to be honest. Tries too many World Cup balls which is probably why his numbers look decent, because of the amount he attempts. Decent player, but wouldn’t be a loss of any significance if he goes.

If we were to have the chance to make any kind of profit on him, id take it.

He confuses me. Wouldn't lose sleep if he left in the summer but equally would be okay giving him another year as long as we sign a top one. Loan out Yang too please.

He's the kind of guy with the tools to be a very good player, so I'm in favour of keeping him. I disliked him until recently; but in the end, I've come to realise that if he had all his undeniable skill and ability but also was a team player who made good decisions and if he had a little bit more pace, he wouldn't be here. He'd be in one of the big leagues.

Other than pace (and he's not that slow), all of his very real flaws are coachable. The question is: does Rodgers have the ability to coach them out of him?

I struggle with his lack of football intelligence never mind his poor end product. As a typical example, at Dundee, 1-2 up in the last 10 mins. Under the cosh playing poorly he gets it 25 yards out and has a strike!!! FFS, we needed to hold onto the ball but this * halfwit gives them it back. I fear for Saturday when he comes on and gives it away needlessly again.

Think Rodgers clearly has the ability do coach out of him. The question should be, does he have the aptitude and desire to learn and change and not have eyes wandering to a move elsewhere (i.e EPL /La Liga.

Think he would have benefited more if Kewell was still around.

I’d keep him. Get rid of MJ and Yang

I agree about Kewell, that's a great point. If he doesn't have the desire to work hard, learn and constantly improve, then he will never experience those leagues, he's currently nowhere near good enough for La Liga or the EPL.

He has the talent to play there in the future, I'm not disputing that; but he has to earn the move by performing here first.

    Would definitely keep him.

But right now he's more of a squad player than a first choice. I think we could and should be improving on him this summer. But I don't mind him. Gets a lot of pelters but we wouldn't be in the position we are without him this season.

I think he's going to go up another level next summer.

He's rightfully behind Maeda for LW currently, but he showed his quality earlier in the season. With a more settled team he'll thrive.

No question about it. If we win the league he will have played an important role over the season. Hopefully we can see some of his early season magic this weekend and over these last few weeks.

Aye, he's frustrating and tailed off even before injury.....but he's definitely shown a lot of quality when he burst on to the scene..

Will improve with a better quality, athletic left back for starters..

I do want a top class winger signed this summer though but will likely be for the right than the left..

Maeda first choice left wing, Palma 2nd is as strong an option as I think we could hope for. And Palma has the ability if he clicks with decision making has enough that next season it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s first choice LW, Maeda moving to the right.

Overlooked quite a bit the impact Palma had for us first half of the season, a big threat in the CL as well, 2 goals very unlucky for a 3rd getting chopped off. The end product he’s shown, and most importantly his attitude when I hear him talking he doesn’t think what he’s done this season is acceptable. He’s still more goal contributions than anyone outwith O’Riley. And his chance creation is a lot more than O’Riley’s. First half of the year, the amount of chances Kyogo missed that he put on a plate when he wasn’t quite at it. Our fans with Palma confuse me, we’ve went for his throat for some reason.

Loved his passion at the end there, was more buzzing than any other player on the grass. Great to see.

Loving his passion. Wonder if he didn't get on yesterday due to the strapping on his left knee.
