The Honduran footballer Luis Enrique Palma officially became a new player this Wednesday for the historic Celtic of the Scottish first division.

“Outstanding Honduran winger Luis Palma joins Celtic FC on a 5-year contract, subject to international clearance. Welcome to paradise”, was the welcome message from the Scottish team for the 26-year-old catracho.

El Bicho" will use the number 7 in his new team and signed a five-year contract where he hopes to stand out just as he did with his former team, Aris Thessaloniki from Greece.

Palma will be led at Celtic by a historic coach, the 50-year-old Northern Irishman Brendan Rodgers . The coach has had two spells at the club where he has won two Leagues, two Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups.

The strategist was a footballer, but it has been on the bench where he has had extensive experience, especially in the English Premier League since he managed the historic Liverpool, Leicester City, Swansea, Reading and Watford.

After Palma 's official announcement , Brendan himself was in charge of welcoming the Ceibeño player and revealed the reasons that caused him to decide to sign him.

“We are very happy to bring Luis to the club. He is a player who had many options but, of course, we are delighted that he has chosen to come to Celtic , an opportunity that really excites him,” indicated the Technical Director on the Scottish institution's website.

And he continued to shower Palma with praise : “He is a very talented player who likes to play offensive football, so we hope he fits very well into the team.”

On the other hand, Rodgers highlighted the great presentations that the Honduran had with the Aris Thessaloniki of Greece and indicated that he hopes he will join the work immediately.

“Luis has reached a very good level so far, playing many matches and gaining international recognition, but I also know that he has the ambition to improve and continue his development with us. We hope that Luis joins the team and starts working with him,” he concluded.

Aris made a deal with a European impact . Given that. It's not every day a Greek club sells a player to Celtic. The Scottish champions, with a huge fan base around the world. A team competing in the Champions League groups

Aris gave a player to this club, in a move that raises the club's prestige. A development that, when finalized, you were immediately informed by Sportime.

Sportime today reveals that behind Aris' deal with Celtic is a Greek agent. He was the bridge for the discussions between the two sides, discussions that resulted in an agreement. And in the most important sale of an Aris player in recent years.

The agent who was behind the contacts between the two clubs was Pavlos Topidis. If nothing else, an extremely important development, since Celtic does not make contacts and transfers with just anyone

The fact that a Greek manager succeeds in completing such a deal, among other things, raises even more the prestige of our country's agents abroad. The already uploaded to call a spade a spade.

Palma 's agent Paulo Hernandez took over the side of the footballer and Pavlos Topidiswas the one who handled the contacts between Celtic and Aris.

Aris: The important role of Giorgos Samaras as well
But there is still important news in the transfer of Luis Palma from Aris to Celtic. Transfer announced yesterday Wednesday (30/8) and the player signed a 5 year contract.

Giorgos Samaras was also involved in the whole case . The former international superstar had an impressive move from Celtic and is adored in Glasgow. After his departure from OFI, he has entered the agencies sector.

During this period, Samaras has the role of consultant to the company that was involved in Aris ' deal with Celtic.

His contribution was extremely important, the love for him on the "green" side of Glasgow is proverbial.

He also played a key role in reaching the agreement.

Celtic recruit Luis Palma has declared he only wanted to sign for the Parkhead side despite being made aware of "contact" from Rangers.

The Honduran international has sealed a move to Parkhead to become the champions' seventh summer signing as Brendan Rodgers ramps ip his transfer business with the deadline fast approaching. He makes a £3.5million move to Celtic from Greek Super League side Aris despite being touted with moves to clubs across Europe this summer - including a switch to Scottish Premiership rivals Rangers.

And the arrival has admitted that he was aware of an interest from Michael Beale's men as he made his decision on the next step in his career - but claims he only wanted to join the Hoops when he heard of the Scottish champions approach. Speaking at his first press conference as a Celtic player, he said: "My agent told me there was contact with Rangers, but when I knew of Celtic’s interest, I was only decided on one team and I wanted to come here."

I'm any other club, this would be seen as a sort of fill circle, romantic nature of the game.

For me? Reeks of yet more lazyness if we are now pointing out that even Samara's is the one suggesting players for us.
Do we even have scouts? :56:
