Luis Palma

He is one if not the greediest player in our squad and is the epitome of the me, me, me player. Not a team player, confined to the bench at best.

 

He sets up more chances than any other player in the team while being that then. Do you think he was greedy for the Idah goal on the weekend?

 

The greedy narrative is a bit boring. Cant help but feel there is some kind of cognitive bias going on for high profile events that people remember.

 

Looking forward to seeing him on from the start tomorrow.

 

I still think he's easily the best wide player at the club (not a high bar to be fair).
Stats way ahead of others, even with limited games, just needs to be a bit more direct and decisive as he was in first 6 games.
Hopefully BR can work some magic there.

 

How people can genuinely believe he isn't greedy, or at least think he's a team player, is beyond me. He's a selfish, me me me type player who would rather add to his Youtube compilations than do what is best for the team.

He's another with ability on the ball but doesn't have the brain to go with it. That 2nd goal we conceded started from him giving the ball away needlessly, trying to go for the spectacular pass rather than get it under control and keep it safe.

He offered nothing when he came on. I genuinely don't remember him affecting the game positively in anyway. Forrest put him to shame.

I'd happily see him punted in the summer.

 

Horrendous how he lost the ball for their second. Made pretty much no impact. He's proven he can score and assist so we need him getting back to that for the run in.

 

Said it many times, does that have the mental strength to play for Celtic.

 

I think I'd go with Forrest v the Huns.

Not back up to speed yet but done ok a couple of times. Good pen too. Needs game time massively though. Couple of bad games and got dropped then injured. Some players get away with murder but if a winger has 2 bad games then you really need to do something special in the few minutes you get in the next games.

Yang can’t start again so Palma in the next game surley to *.

 

It was exactly like something we are used to seeing in europe. It was a pathetic attempt at a pass. Cant believe he didnt play it high and towards the right corner. We need to wisen up and show better in game intelligence when protecting leads.

That pass from our defence was a disgrace, just boot the ball up the park, that was never making it to one of our players.

He's been woefully out of form for a while now, need him back to his best.

 

Mental saying that even 2 years ago, but I'd agree, especially at Parkhead.

Yang's a man down and Palma is either woefully unfit or miles off it.

 

Been * ever since he got his braces out.

 

Clearly needs minutes, but I'm not a fan at all. Just don't see it. Attitude and mentality are all wrong for me.

We also need to be far sharper on counter attacks, see the amount of times we get what should be certain clear goal scoring opportunities and make the wrong choice or over/ under hit a pass. There were so many of them today. That one with Palma and Kyogo had one with Kuhn all he had to do was chip a ball over the top and he played it low and it was easily intercepted.

Often 3 v 2s or 4 v 3 on a break and we screw it up. If we ever want to progress in Europe I feel that’s where teams at a similar level to us get goals in these games and pull off big results. We constantly fluff our lines with them.
