So we've agreed a deal with Aris' rivals that gets us a full fee and takes the 20% out the equation? :56:

I thought he'd have been a star for us.
I was looking for the 6 nil against Aberdeen and accidentally got the previous one. He was excellent in it.

Just shows you how fast things change in football. That was 12/11/23 and we no longer have Kyogo, O'Riley, Hart, Palma, Holm, Turnbull, Oh, Bernabei or Iwata. Yang should really be off too, bit think Rodgers likes his effort.

Was struck by all the change. The assists were excellent from Palma and his pen was good. Funny how things work out.

One for controversial Celtic opinions here maybe but I actually love that strip now :52:

With others, I feel that Palma was a far better and more effective player than Yang, certainly in possession.

Surprised we didn’t give him more game time over the past 12 months, but obviously Rodgers watches and monitors the effort at training.

Hopefully Jota will be an upgrade

Looked unreal when he first came in loads of goals and assists first half of season and scoring a couple in the CL too. Injured then never recovered or got much a chance after that. He’ll be good for them I’d think.

I always felt like he had a bit more to show than we got, but he's had long enough to prove it. I'll take breaking even on him.

Still rather have Palma than Yang, he would be a great Backup for Jota, I think this season the Fact that Taylor is crap and our Midfield 3 have been bad hasn't helped, Maeda has the pace and experience to make up for that, I would like to see him in Preseason and maybe he can show the promise he had when he first arrived with an actual decent Left Back behind him and Jota giving him some mentoring

Yang is infuriatingly inconsistent but would Palma have been able to affect the game like Yang did when he came on against Bayern last week? I highly doubt it, certainly not the Palma of this season anyway. Yang is a useful sub to have imo, still not sure he will ever be good enough to be a starter for us but I think as an impact sub he offers more of a threat than Palma.
