He was fine the first 5 minutes he was on, good even, then he was atrocious.

    Sell in January

Never took to him...just he's not good enough or suited to our style. Sell.

Technically decent, far too slow to be a winger, if he was to be played again I'd try him in the 10n has an eye for a pass and can shoot, but think je is pretty much finished here after that

    My thoughts exactly.

Had a bit of energy and purpose when he came on. Disappeared though.

Hopefully the last time we see him.

He tried. The trouble is when he's on the pitch, the ball seems like a magnet to him and our hopes entirely seem to rest on how he's playing. It's painful to watch our ideas dry up as soon as he's on the pitch - not that we created much before he came on.

He has ability but he's not suited to us. Wants about 6 touches every time he has it or to beat his man multiple times. Hopefully sell in Jan and replace with someone better suited.

If he would run down the byline and use his left foot to cross with any regularity, he'd be starting for us.

Should have moved him central when Idah and Kyogo were on the park, 3 mids behind him. Just pointless playing him out wide.

Its the pace that costs money . He's another Haksabanovic , technically sound but no pace or real threat taking a man on . We are going to need to pay for better.

No pace. When he loses the ball he's never recovering.
Initially made a difference, but just not good enough.

We have enough ok players in the squad, replace the mediocrity with players who can change a game, move him on pronto.

Can't stand wingers who, when they beat their man, then allow them to get back into position because they want to do it again. That was Palma all over at times today.

And the only reason he managed to beat Strain on the occasions he did is because Strain expected him to do his one-trick pony move of cutting onto his right.

Another thing, the length of time it takes Palma between cutting onto his right and actually getting his cross in is chronic. Takes far, far too long and often the defender is easily able to get himself between Palma and the ball.

I remember thinking he was going to be a big-game player for us. That goal against Atletico Madrid feels like a lifetime ago.

Looked the only way i thought we could score imo. Will 100% be away in Jan but has more quality in his big toe than Maeda as much as he has other strengths.

No idea why he doesn’t trust his left foot more as he always puts in a good ball off it, think he just knows he can scoee or assist on his right from anywhere within 30 yards.

I wish him well, just doesn’t suit us and needs an overlapping full back to give him space. Classic Celtic scapegoat.

Am I the only one that sees if he gets a few games under his belt he’d be playing like the first 5 mins today more often. Can’t expect him to be up to speed full of confidence when he’s behind Yang in the pecking order..

Games like that when we are struggling ti create and have no Kuhn he’s probably our next best option. Done ok a couple of times and * a couple of times. Which is to be expected if he’s playing 10 mins every few weeks.

Maeda was far worse and has been like that in loads of games this season. Would start Palma Boxing Day.
