    There was a process pre Ange where we were signing volumes of perceived young talent with no real reserve/u23 football to play in and a senior squad where there was very little opportunity to get into first team. What did the club expect to happen with connell, O'Connor, afolabi, Shaw, urhoghide etc

    Afolabi got loans to be fair, he was just * in all of them. O'connor did too, in fact he was quite highly regarded but he obviously didn't impress. I'm actually curious what happens to Afolabi now, wouldn't be surprised if he ends up semi pro now.

    Its a grand old team to play for
    I understand the romance of having Irish players in the Celtic team but they have been on a down turn talent wise for a while. Only one out of their first team international squad that would get a game for Celtic is Coleman and he's starting to get on a bit. The Irish need to have a complete overhaul of their youth set up in my opinion.
