What do you all do with your loose change.
You know, get up the next morning after a night out and your pockets may be full of shrapnel.
I have been chucking my loose change into a few jars about the house....came home today and wife has said there is almost £300...happy days, will pay a few bills.
BUT.....how the * can i change all the 1p,2p,5p,10p,20,50p etc into notes...cos i dont think the post office will want a pile of coinage to count.
anyone else do this?

I don't know, Bob. But if you have 3 dollars I could spare, forgot to go to the bank last night. :54:

buy one of these:
We we first got married my husband had 4 huge coffee cans full of change. I think it came out to about $300, and most of it was in pennies! Keeping one in the kitchen and a drawer full of paper rolls nearby means we always have another source of ready cash if we need it (and we do!) -
I do that - comes in handy when you're a bit short of funds :icon_mrgreen:
I just take it to the bank and get them to change it to notes for me - you just have to have the correct amounts in the money bags and don't mix the coins :50: -
Asda sounds like a good idea.
The rates office has stopped people paying at their office, otherwise they would be getting it slapped on their counter. -
Yep,the wife is ringing them now :56: i know im going to have to carry it into the bank if thats the case.
Miss Girly......what ya want $3 for :97: vending machine of some sort?????? -
I keep an empty 2Ltr bottle in my room and put change in it daily. It was 3/4 full just before Xmas and I changed it for £170! Get the little bags from the bank/post office and they weigh them to make sure the right amount is there.

I take mine into ASDA but I'm a lazy *. If it's that amount of money I'd bag it and take it to the bank to save yourself the percentage (7.9p per pound) they take off.
