Worst than in Libya. Anyway, I can not see NATO forces attacks their government...

  2. thank * this seems to have died down now hope it continues like this .

  3. Whilst that may well be true that they were spotters, no one can know that for sure, and at the time when the police stopped them, they showed no sign of resistance, therefore they shouldn't have been hit like they were

  4. @gmpolice
    GM Police
Just arrested two men found with fuel can, balaclava, ball bearings - if you want to commit disorder, we'll lock you up

  5. I wonder if you were so concerned about the 60 year old guy who was intensive care due to defending himself from the rioters. Your just another brainwashed liberal who cares only about police brutality in a time like this!! Have you even seen the destruction and trauma this has caused to people??

  6. Pretty much totally died down. Some scuffles with neds throwing bottles at police, but that's about it. I've been glued to the twitter feeds and tv for about 3 days solid now, even had a hand in finding a few people posing with their "loot", bragging about stabbing policemen etc.

My take on the whole thing is that it STARTED off with the protest against the police shooting a man and killing him, it has also been confirmed the man would not drop a loaded firearm.
It then escalated into violence when more and more people joined the protests in Tottenham, which then resulted in rioting and looting in Hackney. All over London people began to ransack innocent peoples businesses and livelihood for "da helluvit" and "to get free stuff".
Copycat rioting and looting cropped up all over the country in Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester etc. Again, to get free stuff and just to cause a bit of a stir.
Some of the people I've seen have said they were doing it "cuz it's fun", "cuz I want free *" "cuz I hate da police". Not one mentioned the protests in Tottenham, nor the shooting.
It's opportunistic criminals and mindless vandalism. It's disgusting and the people need to be brought to justice, no matter what age. It has also highlighted the need for more policing and that Camerons cuts on the police force are completely unsolicited.

  7. Wish they'd stop branding this "UK" riots. It's *' English riots.

Can just imagine every other countries news channels saying "Don't go to the "UK". Fantastic for our tourism. Well done.

And we all know had this been happening in Scotland only it would be branded "Scottish Riots". *' *. :38:

  8. The sad thing is mate, they won't be brought to justice like they deserve. There are far too many clueless liberals who would rather see the * police be punished for 'brutality' than the disgusting animals who are responsible for these sickening events.

  9. Ah the great British Police Force.

Spent most of the last three nights standing by while folk looted freely and torched the city.

But find a wee group of kids riding about on pushbikes, and the full force of the law is brought to bear!

Cowards as well as thugs, it would seem.

  10. wee group of kids? They were one of the main reason why the riots were being allowed to happen. They were spotters alerting the animals when the police was in the location so they could move on to somewhere else.

  11. I would have bounced the bike up and down over the little * skulls .

  12. You have not the slightest idea who they are mate, any more than we do.

You have just made up a wee narrative that fits your prejudices.

All we know is what we see on the video - as I said, a wee group of kids on pushbikes.

And if you can watch that video and honestly not see what is wrong in those policemen's actions, then your humanity and common sense have become the latest casualties of the riots.

  13. Well in that case you would be a mindless thug.

Precisely the sort of person who - in their circumstances - would be looting himself.

  14. If truth be told, your bloodlust is quite disturbing.

  15. I very much doubt they were innocent wee kids. In all probability they were spotters, several eye witness reports stated that. So I couldn't give a * if they were battered, they deserved it. Look at the mayhem they are helping to cause.

And to be honest I don't really give a *, I care more about the innocent people of London being traumatised and targeted by these scumbags. Not the spotters on bikes who are allowing to this to happen.

The police are trying to restore order. And I'm sorry to say being heavy handed and roughing up the people causing disorder is necessary. Maybe there will not be so many volunteers to be spotters next time.

Maybe not however i have it on good authority that the kids on Bikes Were spotters and were rounded up and chased out of the city centre by police ...They were promised XBoxes , PS3s ect for helping the looters out ...It was organised crime by the underworld in Manchester .

  17. No, we have it on good authority that some kids on bikes were acting as spotters.

It doesn't follow that the fact a kid is on a bike means he is in the pay of the criminal underworld. I mean really - there is no way, in the chaos of a riot, that police intelligence could be good enough to know that that particular kid had been offered inducements by a gangster. And even if they could somehow know 100%, there is no justification for them beating him.

He was not trying to escape. He was not trying to resist. He had stopped his wee bike and was dismounting from it very slowly, with absolutely zero aggression or resistance. He didn't even have a defensive posture - he was totally taken aback when the cop started beating into his head.

There is no excuse for that whatsoever - any more than there is an excuse for folk setting fire to a building.

Only difference is, in one case the thug is wearing a uniform, and abusing a position of public trust.

Of course police intelligence can know what they were up to and also why they were there ....Dont need house to house enquiries for that ..I didnt say that particular kid did i ?? ..Police intel knew that kids on bikes were being used as spotters ....

Anyway they didnt have lights on their bikes surely thats an offence no ? :84:
