Nah I'd ask them to disarm themselves and if they didn't then they'd be shot

How can you disarm yourself of a gun that is hidden in a sock in your car?

Listen to yourself. The * Sunday excuse was that the Paras were fired on first.

This-and the accusation that the dead were armed- was later proved a complete lie.

There are many more examples but the fact is that the British establishment always have and always will use any excuse to justify their actions.

Right well I was lead to believe the guy was armed when he was shot and I only said if he was armed with the weapon then he was a danger to the public and that's why he was shot.

That's just my view on it

Seems like a lot of bloodthirsty people on here....shoot them, rubber bullets, crack skulls etc etc....Does anyone actually want to give the police an excuse? Those from the Occupied 6 Counties will know the sharp end of British justice.

When the "real" cuts kick in, and we have a decade of people who are taken out of real society the proper riots will begin.

    Led to believe by whom?

Again, how many people sat back in the aftermath of * Sunday and said the same thing?

The notion that the police should be allowed to act with impunity is almost as bonkers as thinking they're a great bunch of people.

It seems the only people who are a danger to the public are the poice themselves, who have killed 779 people since 2000*

That's a stat that the mainstream media won't be rushing to wheel out.

    Wake up, mate.

What, just like this guy wouldn't have been shot dead if he wasn't holding a weapon?

My point is we don't have a clue. You say you know "for a fact" that he was carrying a gun, but that's actually untrue - really, we don't have a clue. I was in London at the time he was shot, and my friend was in Tottenham, but we don't have a clue either.

Mibbe Duggan was waving the gun crazily out the window and the police shot him to save the public.
Mibbe the police stopped him, then he panicked & pulled the gun on them.
Mibbe the police thought he had a gun, shot him, and then saw he didn't - but found one in a sock in his car.
Mibbe a police officer panicked, pulled the trigger, then realised the guy had no gun - and a more experienced officer said "look son, don't panic, I'll go get a gun, and we can plant it on him".
Mibbe the police officer had a grudge against him, and deliberately set out to shoot him and then plant the gun.

We haven't a clue - especially not at this stage, when the police admitting the guy had no gun could spark a further riot. So why jump to conclusions and say a human being deserved to die? What purpose does it serve?
