That's the South Korea flag there.

    :56:

That is actually quite pathetic and whoever is responsible should be put out the door.

    All fixed now.

I see most of the crowd walked out in protest also.

Pretty cringe-worthy but to be honest I find it funny :56:

Just imagine the guy in charge of the big screen.

Spell the players name correctly....show the right flag....spell names right.... show the right flag....

    ....oh *uck! :56:

I don't find it funny at all.

It's the players big moment and some *-wit has spoiled it through an embarrassing act of incompetence.

I'm similar to this. I'll watch it even if it's not a spectacular sport or anything. NBC usually does some fluffy stories which, when it deals with famous people, kind of * me off but some of these Olympians in more obscure sports have some fascinating stories. They dedicate themselves like the plushy professional athletes while still having to work normal jobs.

Outside of that, I enjoy watching many of the main events - most track and field, swimming, basketball, volleyball (both sexes), water polo (most of the US team is always from Southern California), cycling, etc. When I was younger I always enjoyed gymnastics, but as you get older it makes you a bit... uncomfortable. :icon_mrgreen:

watching the Colombia - North Korea game now and the American commentator keeps referring to some place called Hampton Park

So, it took us one day to start an international incident with North Korea.

Gay rights and annoying despots all in the same day - now that's some going.

Looking at the schedule there, I'm looking forward to Archery, BMX, Fencing, Football, Hockey, Judo, Pole Vault, Shooting, Taekwondo, Tennis, Trampoline, Volleyball, Weighlifting, Wrestling and more. The build up to this started to bore me but that's just because it's getting held here, I look forward to coverage of things I don't always get to see.
