    They obviously didnt have confidence for him that season, if Benfica are not looking to use him this season they he isnt good enough for us. We should be looking for Champions League players! Not borrowing players that Champions League teams dont need this year.

    are you stupid, he has 2 world class strikers in front of him, if they didnt rate him they would just sell him for a small fee, and of course he is good enough for us, I would bet any stiker or defender on benficas bench would easily get into our starting 11, and the problem with you wanting us to look at champions league players, is that none of them want to come here when there is a very good chance we wont even make it to the champions league, and when we cant pay them as much as other teams, you seem to have the delision that we are still considered a big club in european competitions when the truth is that we are no more important that your average, norwegian, danish or polish side that are trying to get into the CL group stages, we are actually probably worse than those teams, we have a chance to take in a player who is young and obviously has alot of talent, benfica arent hoping to get 20 million for him thats just to scare away the teams like dortmund and newcastle who were looking at him, but if he comes here for a year and likes and and tells benfica he wants to stay, then they would probably work out a fair price for him, and even if he doesnt stay we would have a great young striker for a season

    Dost would be unreal I wanted him before the season started. But he has hit something like 28 goals this season not a chance of us getting him now I wouldnt think.
