    the way people are talking here he will have to be superman.......imagine the scene......89th minute 1-1.......freddie breaks up a hun attack in the celtic box.......flicks the ball to himself in midfield.....goes on a mazy run before sliding a perfect pass to himself on the edge of the huns box......then slams it into the top corner of the net......freddie has just won the game. no pressure on you eh freddie??? i think we need the rest of the team to perform to give the guy a chance to show what he can do.

    This is not the Arsenal player of a few years ago we are signing. He has a dodgy CV in recent years. I hope this isnt Ian Wright all over again. To me, we only ever sign older fading or troubled stars except when we are desperate and every time we do it we lose the title. Its a mark of desperation/last throw of the dice. However, that all said, its about chemistry and there is just that slight chance that Celtic's style and the relatively low standard of the SPL may give him an Indian summer.
