To be honest i was happy to see him sign untill i read it was just till the end of the season.
Celtic have done it again....spent big money on a free player with high wages.
He will play for us till end of season and if he does good he will then * off back to the epl.
We need to start finding players that want to come here to play and not just use our club as a stepping stone.
The money we have wasted on these big signings would have bought us a cb that we so badly need.

Eh? Have you watched the press conference? Lenny said the deal was to the end of the season but both Lennon and Ljungberg said they would like to extend it if it goes well, sort of like Kapo I think except longer.

Brilliant bit in the press conference when Ljunberg says "there's a great management staff here" and Lenny says "thank you"

If it does we could have Champions League football. That is still our biggest carrot to offer players. Unless they go to 1 of 5, maybe 6 clubs in England, they don't have that chance. I still see your point however.

think your underestimating us as a club.we've had big players who could have walked but have stayed.we aren't your run of the mill epl team,we are more than that and if he has any sense he will realise that.as players in the past have and players in the future will.for some people its not about every last penny

he isnt really on big bucks a think its in the region of 20k a week thats nothing compared to keane on 65k a week last season. if we get european football next season and he does well a think he will stay and there isnt much difference between us and any epl team that would offer him a contract maybe more money but thats about it

    +1

Henrik stayed for 7 years when he could have got a move to Man U and Barca instead.
