I wonder when they’ll bring out a DVD of this auspicious event.
That’ll be the new Christmas toy sorted for this year, the Lizzie in a box game, a bit like buckaroo, place a wee plastic crown on the box and wait for a wee withered claw to pop out to * it.
    Fun for all the family

I make fun of Americans not realising a world exists outside their country but the reality is England is very similar.

The Celtic Song ... There can be only one !
Anyone noticed the number of people blessing themselves as they pass the coffin, given that there will never be a Catholic monarch, I find this odd. But, the best part is half them don't even know how to make the sign of the cross properly... fecking clowns man...

Watching this pish on the bbc, grown men dressed as * clowns in their bright red clown outfits with wee bells on their shoes.
The circus really has came to town on this one.
I feel , out of a sense of duty, to dig out the tinfoil, make up some wee medals with some ribbon and foil, strip naked and wrap myself in a butchers apron then stand out in the street, at attention with tears running down my face in tribute to some wee wummin that I’ve never met and had no bearing on my life….. apart from the part that every time I carried money in my pocket, the image of her face was snuffling my balls.

What time does the Queen go to bed and wake up?

It's said that in order to feel fresh for her daily appointments the Queen always went to bed at the same time every night, 11pm, and slept for eight and a half hours – meaning she woke at 7.30am each day.

    Not this time.

Here is the menu for the plebs watching the queens funeral .

Guests can share sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee whilst sharing memories and catching up with one another. Finger foods. Sausage rolls and devilled eggs are a popular choice for funeral wake finger buffets. Incorporate more vegetables by adding crudités, hummus, dips, and fruit plates.
wine, beer and perhaps sherry ,

Seeing Rolf Harris is free , will Andrew invite him ? he painted the queens portrait so he might be there , i wonder if it still hangs in buck house.

FFS, some nonentity on the bbc called her “the queen of the world “

wind yer neck in hen, remember what happened to Ming The Merciless when he wanted to be king of the world.

They make the sign of the cross/bless oneself in the Anglican/Church of England.

Their mass is almost exactly the same as the Catholic Church save for the head of the Church being The Pope in one and The Monarch in the other thanks to Henry VIII.

    It really is that close.

I agree there’s been some very loose interpretations and attempts at this gesture on display, which will be, in the main, attributable to folks who don’t regularly attend Church/Chapel.

I freely admit to having “lapsed” and confess to not fully knowing the new lyrics and stand sit kneel format when attending funerals etc and my attempts at blessing myself were never the greatest in the first place. I remember an old battle axe teacher, Mrs Fleming, reprimanding me when in Primary 5 and making me repeatedly bless myself in front of the class until I got it right in her eyes - cow!

Anyway, poor attempts at blessing oneself really is down to lack of practice and laziness I would imagine.

Maybe they are blessing themselves to ward away evil . I dont know if it will work as Andrew is there.

Watching the wee soldiers and sailors marching behind the band reminds me off the opening credits of blackadder goes forth and gives me a little smile :57:

Don’t get the people losing their mind because mps and celebs got to skip the queue claiming that no one is better then them while at the same time worshiping a family they see as better then them. :97:
