According to one of the rags, there were "4 controversial incidents in our game as Nick Walsh goes under the microscope". Apart from our penalty, corner and so called Rogic use of the arm can anyone else think of anything they might be greeting about?

Really good performance that today and as much as just getting the 3 points was what mattered most today I think the fact that we played well is a big confidence booster. Forrest backed up his good cameo off the bench in midweek with his best performance for quite some time and what a brilliantly taken goal. Hopefully gives him the confidence to be a big contributor over the remaining 8 league games. Rogic was excellent as was Biton in the middle and overall easily our best performance since the 4-0 at Motherwell. Even tacked another goal onto the goal difference lead again which at +11 now is effectively a point added onto our 3 point lead.

Sounds like a good game, would have loved to have seen it, but alas, I had some important walking to do.

Just thinking back to when we played Caley Thistle at Hampden. The 'hand ball' incident. I remember loads of pundits like Dalziel saying it didn't matter because we might have missed the penalty. Nobody wants to seem to mention that the first goal was due to Livvie not defending a set piece properly.

Watching the penalty we got, I really don't see what anybody is complaining about. He has his arm stretched out making his body bigger.
I actually haven't seen the corner.

That was our best team performance since Motherwell. A place we have been very poor at recently we controlled the game, created a good number of chances, and had a real hunger about our play again.

Bitton, Rogic, Ralston and Forrest all who came in played well. I have been critical of Bitton, Rogic and Forrest lately but they stepped up yesterday. It would be a big boost if those 3 all find form again now for the last 8 league games and Scottish cup. That with Turnbull and Kyogo coming back would give us a really strong squad.

Also playing one game a week will allow us to play high press relentless football for the full games or at least until we are out of sight and have good options to come on to keep it up when the first 11 tire. In training we should also be able to better integrate Hatate, Maeda, Ideguchi and O’Riley into the system given the extra time to work with them and not just spent on recovery.

Almondvale Is a nice wee stadium apart from pitch and I Think it's great that livi give us 3 stands rather than having a half empty stadium, especially for a tv game

It was remarkable how we got a decent passing game going on that pitch aswell btw. It slowed the ball down massively on top of the unpredictable bounce.

Forrest took his goal with real confidence, which is good considering he was being hounded on here for playing * most of the game.

Still buzzing with the result. Mad how a football club doing well can have such a feeling on you. Love you celtic x
