Maybe a Palma in the 10 behind..

Palma breaking beyond and shooting on sight on that * pitch, or even Bernardo

Oh for his physicality and Maeda after to run the * off their tired legs..

 

Im not even looking forward to games now as you don't even know what to expect, team just seems a mess and you really need a good run of 10 games to see everyone to judge what we're doing and who can play where or who is decent or not but so far its been near horrific viewing after 2 years of quality.

Going into games thinking how are we actually going to create chances here.

I want to see us lining up different, still playing the same 4-3-3 as under Ange just knocks the stuffing out you as its similar guys in similar positions but they off the ball movement, the precise sharp passing and quick transitions from keeper to setting up chances is stone dead.

 

No messing about play the strongest 11 and make subs when the game's won.

 

0-0 or a tough 1-0 win

 

2-0 ... a good result

 

I'd like to score very * early for once.

 

My old fear of playing Livi on that horrible pitch has returned. I expect a turgid affair with very few goals and any type of win will do for me.

 

I know it won't happen but I would like to see Oh given a start alongside Kyogo in an old-fashioned front 2. He has looked decent the few times I've seen him this season and he is clearly desperate to do well. Oh would be able to take the attention away from Kyogo leaving the wee man more space and would be a counterpoint to Kyogo's pace and movement with his strength and ability to hold the ball.

 

4-4-2 - Blasphemy!

I'd also like to see it!

 

Was thinking 3-5-2 myself but that is another option. I think we're tied to 4-3-3 a bit too much.

Can't come quick enough for me, we need to get the finger out and put these games to bed early. The difference in pace between our play and with Ange at the helm is night and day (barring towards the end of last season). Lack of pressing and urgency when we have the ball is so evident. It's improving slowly I think but the sluggishness can become really frustrating because of what we got used to last season.

Stating the obvious but we still need to up our game a fair bit.

 

A team we struggled with under Rodgers.

Id take a 0-1 all day

 

We just need to win as anything else would have us all raging again - well me anyway

 

Must win to keep the huns in catchup mode

Away v Livi is statistically the toughest game we have. Since they returned to the Premiership in 2018, Celtic have collectively taken fewer points away from Almindvale than any ground in the Premiership, including Ipox. Without Ange's 2 wins there, that record would be so much worse!

This is simply about getting the win!

We need to come out quick and get in front early. There’s enough of the team from previous seasons to know what to expect so they need to set the tempo and we need some of the new guys to step up.

In the summer I said what I wanted us to sign was guys who come in and you immediately think he’s a player (Kyogo, Hatate, O’Riley etc), everyone we have signed since Ange’s second summer with the exception of Johnston doesn’t fit that category at all.
