We did, but who cares because we sing it better and the arrogant English football fans will always say Liverpool did.

As for the Everton/Pool thing, I've a few Celtic supporting friends who despise Liverpool. "Shower of Orange *" were the exact words.
I don't know much about that, but I do know Liverpool have marches on the 12th July, and I can't see many of those fuckwits supporting Everton....

when i was at the uefa cup game in anfield, one of the best games i was ever at btw. we were leaving on the ferry early next mornin, so we asked a taxi man to take us somewhere to get a quick bite.he took us to a little cafe decked out in everton pics and scarfs. the owner was there and sat with us and was tellin us that liverpool were always the orange club and said that years ago you would even get everton fans with celtic scarfs at the games. i was very happy about this because i hate liverpool

No question historically Liverpool were the huns of the city. Not so much nowadays but I have noticed behind one of the goals at Anfield a 6 counties flag at many games so they likely still have a hun element to their support.

Not that much of a divide or rivalry considering fans mix regularly and sit in with each other in derby games with minimal trouble.

They are both from methodist backgrounds, Everton are more like Celtic and Liverpool are more like Rangers and i believe they were founded by a member of the O.O. Doesn't stop us having good relations with them with the hillsbrough and that.
