Any clues as to how much of the stadium is being given to Celtic fans? Out of interest what is Benfica's average home crowd?

According to guide the best crowd was 63k v Barcelona. Not sure what their average is but he blamed 45k on the fact that it is mid week and the forecast is for rain.

Celtic have about half of the top tier of one of the stands behind the goal. Stadium magnificent and Champions League final being played there for next year's final. Told him we would be back.

Got home yesterday about 4, today in work has been murder, absolutely nackered.

That was a good fun trip, met loads of good folk along the way, and put a penalty in at Estadio Nacional. Good times, not the best result though, but crowd were brilliant.

I was too ruined for the trophy pictures :56: made it to the ground and walked on the pitch etc which was absolutely amazing. Few teary eyed people in there!

Just loved the whole experience apart from the stewards and police at the ground not letting us in until ten minutes after the game started. Was * poor the organisation outside and it was lucky it didn't kick off and that nobody got crushed trying to push up the ramp. Getting out was a * nightmare as well.

I ended up getting too drunk, missing the first half, so ran for a taxi after waking up and went over on my ankle (didn't hurt too much as i managed to carry on jumping and dancing about when i saw the second half and through the night). Agony the next day though as it ballooned to twice the size it should be and was nicely bruised. The trip home wasn't great.
Turns out i've damaged my ankle ligaments. :50: Still, had a great time.

Was a great trip - Lisbon is a great city for football fans, basically has everything to offer. Area down near the Copenhagen bar was mental the Monday and Tuesday night. Faro was nuts also, Monday morning paying 1 euro a beer, massive cargo for the train which was full of absolute maniacs! Met a former Serbian footballer who has his own cafe bar in Faro - photos up on the wall of him tackling Cadete! He ended up getting out his scrapbook of his footballers where he was lined up next to Stojkovic, were trying to get him to phone him as well!

Hope we never go back to Barcelona, but Lisbon - yes please, anytime.

I can vouch for the journey home being a long one and that the trip was definitely worth it!

I wish I'd waited in the queue for the photo with the cup. Unfortunately I had the bright idea of jumping in a taxi and going to get a carry out instead :52:

    Pfft what a trip.

Met Berite Auld on our flight, thus many a singsong followed.
Given a free bottle of Sambucca on 2 different night in one of the pubs because we got the place jumping.
    Taps we're never on
Random Portugese guy playing guitar for us on the train.
Celtic fan cracking out the rebs on the bagpipes on the train.
Manager of one of the pubs we were in rolling about on the floor with his tap aff, wrecked, having a dance of with one of our mates, while another one of us was working the bar.
DJ wearing a Tricolour balaclava in the Karoke bar.
Every night we left the hotel when the bar shut taking randoms with us.

Then we went to Lisbon for the game.

Quite possibly the best holiday or away trip ever.
