I believe Sacha is a decent enough player, and with Nakamura on the way out, this may be a good way to ween him into the team; who better to learn from than some of the best? We know that he isn't the best but he is still solid and I believe he is fit for the hoops.

The huns are not developing Edu, who I concede is a better player, by not giving him a go at all in matches (pains me as an American football/soccer fan). Rest assured though, if Sacha comes to Celtic WGS will make him better, while Falter Smith and his crackpot team have probably damaged Edu's career quite a bit.

You can't be serious suggesting Sacha as a replacement for Shunsuke? This leads me to believe you haven't watched him at all. He's a box-to-box guy. He'd be here to compete with Brown, Hartley, Robson, Crosas.
Gordon has already lined up Shunsukes' replacements. See Caddis, Maloney, McCourt, and Mizuno.

He's got 11 caps (about to be 13 by February 11th) in the past year and a half with quite a few youth caps. I'm pretty sure he could get in on appeal... he's got more caps and youth caps than Edu does.

Nice jab there tiger:rolleyes:, you can tell everyone how well you did dissing somebody on an online forum; good job!!!. I do watch MLS and I do watch him; quality player.

This is exactly the sort of thing WGS had in mind with developing young talent, he does play on the wing too mind you; anyone who follows MLS, Chivas USA, or SK knows this.
I am certain Sacha's coming to the right side of Glasgow it won't be like electing a president to office who doesn't have any executive experience, nor any real experience for that matter, but I digress...:bbpd:

There is zero chance Sacha gets a game on the wing

Edu can play center back. Do you think he is going to get a game there for Rangers?

Sadly there is a better chance we see Sacha somehow get a game at LB then wing.:54:

I still say this deal isn't going through unless we somehow get him for 1.5m or less.

Of course I know he plays on the wing. So do rankers' players but it's simply not a one for one comparison.
Brown and Robson also play on the wing, but nobody considers them substitutes for Nakamura either.

Serbia isn't in the EU so he would still have to get a work permit. Manchester United needed a work permit for the Serbian, Zoran Tosic, that they've just signed.

I don't watch much American football. I support the Republic of Ireland internationally, however I do watch a few odd matches for the U.S.

yeah I'm the same way, I follow Scotland internationally; I'll sit and watch an MLS game sometimes when it's on tv...but its more embarrassing than anything between the poor style of play and the terrible announcers.

We need to invest in the first team now as the manky mob cant buy anyone and have to sell so if we invest from a position of strength then we will just pull further and further away, but celtic do this all the time, when we get a good side that wins leagues and cups we never seem to invest heavily to make the next step and we allow the manky mob to catch up then we spend again.and so on and on and on lol get where i am going here
