That ref cost Barca the league last year too.

 

I wonder was he told to give them any marginal decisions, just to keep a lid on their fans? I can't imagine a guy with that much experience could make that many mistakes? Something just doesn't add up, and he know he had a howler or two in La Liga, but that was different level stuff.
I should also point out that I rarely have a go at referees either, especially after a game, this just isn't sitting right with me.

The Referee was a total incompetent. He should be disciplined severely for that display

 

Nice easy win, ref may not have helped much with bookings and letting them lot off for roughing, but the return leg should be a breeze now.

60000 Celts supporting the team against this manky lot is going to see their squads arses all collectively collapse and I would expect a real hammering of a point that clearly shows the class between us.

First game of the season and we already have a candidate for the honest mistakes thread. I honestly don't know what goes through these referees' minds some of the time. He clearly saw the bottles on the park, and they presented a danger to a player, so in what universe does he think to book said player for that?
