He was a good fit for Ange's system. His general play has always been poor.

 

His whole game appears to be to kick the ball past a player and try and run on to it and it's not like he is lightening quick either

Let’s be honest, he was never that good. Has never been able to beat a man, no pace, powder puff. I get it that some think his goals against them give him a stay of execution but I’ve just never thought he was any good.

Good player - doesn’t fit Rodgers system. He’s not going to do a step over or drop a shoulder and beat a man his strength is his movement off the ball getting into positions which has been superb the last few seasons under ange. It’s not a coincidence a lot of the players that excelled under ange are now struggling

 

I think he's pish and have always thought he was so limited in ability. Running with the ball it looks like it could bounce off him at anytime..great touch and go player and stealing in at the back post but can't take a man on and beat him and as a supposed winger that's criminal. Khun should start ahead of him and while were at it I'd have maeda on the left instead of Palma.

His last few performances have been nothing short of pathetic.

He benefited from Ange’s style of football and was fortunate to be in the right positions a lot of the time, which I know is a skill, but he’s not cut out to be a Celtic player.

He’s not got the ability to beat a man and he’s not got the stature to cope with the physicality of this league.

Kuhn will hopefully cement that role quickly and Maeda / Palma can compete for LW.
