I like him and he's a good player, but i would like us to take a stand and never recruit israeli players again. The world should exclude them just like Russians are excluded. Sad to have to do stuff like that, but something has to be done.

I don't think we should ever discriminate a player based on their nationality. It's unfair to hold an individual like Abada responsible for the actions of the Israeli government.

Seen on somewhere earlier I think maybe on bbc gossip column that he’s been advised by an Israeli teammate to quit Celtic

Think that's a real possibility and if he did do I'd feel it was understandable, if disappointing.

Nowhere near the biggest deal in this whole situation but must be a bit of a personal * for him at the minute.

See realistically if he hadn’t got injured I think he would have been off next summer. Might still be if he gets game time in the second half of the season. Nothing to do with the political situation there just seems like the end of his cycle at Celtic.

I think there will be a good few looking to leave next summer despite all the contract signings.

If he’s only going to want to play in clubs that support Israel he might not find many :57: I understand though he’s a big boy so he can do what he wants, if he was to quit though would he get no wage until he finds a new club? He was pretty gash up until his injury but so where a lot of players so wouldn’t judge him too much

It’s inevitable nowadays but atleast we will get more money and have more authority in the deals for players that signed new deals

No idea what would happen if he quits.

If he does quit I don't think it'll really be about what he believes or doesn't, although that will be a factor, and more about how he'd be perceived for the rest of his life in his home country.

Really don't envy him at all.

I doubt he would outright quit the club, he may seek a transfer in January but the club would need to be happy with receiving a fee they feel is acceptable which may not be easy given he is out injured long term and will only be due back around the end of the window.

If he just quite there would a lot of legalities to sort out. We paid a decent amount for him, he has just signed a new contract, his value has increased since he came here so he would probably be due to club money if he simply tried to quit.

Think that's unfair on him mate..

Must, be an awful situation for him personally at the moment..

His posts on social media around have been much more measured up to now.

Maybe so, but, I’m sick of these Zionist * acting like they’ve done nothing wrong. They’ve been systematically wiping Palestinians out for decades.

I don’t agree with what Hamas have done one bit, they’re terrorists who don’t care about the normal Palestinian people, but, surely do your homework on the views of a large portion of the fan base before you come here if our views will affect you.

The banner was poorly timed, poorly executed but I agree with the overall view of it. Palestinians have a right to exist.

Of course.. no arguments with what you say around the conflict.. or the banner..

But, Abada has been caught up in amongst, we don't even know his personal views etc..

He's done nothing wrong to warrant any type of abuse or criticism from us..

The Palestinian leadership have done more harm (and continue to) towards their own people, than the Israeli leadership ever have. Hamas are a vile group, that have no place in any society. The Palestinian people are doomed with leadership such as them in control.

I really hope Abada sticks around at our football club, and does not allow these minority of braindead knuckle-draggers within our support to drive him out. You cannot let people with that sort of mentality win!

I for one stand in solidarity with the people of Israel against these terrorist scum! RIP to all innocent lives lost in the senseless barbarism we’ve witnessed.

Fair enough mate. I can probably guess what his views on it are though, they’re brought up to think as Arabs as below them.
