I’d be interested to see what our staff say once he gets a scan etc.

How can it go from minor strain to 5 months out.

All well and good saying * international football etc. but he’s been training with us day in, day out until the last 10 days or so.

Becoming extremely concerning how many injuries we’re picking up now - all muscle/tendon related as well. The * is going on at training?

    Can’t be a coincidence.

Seen pictures of him heading to London this morning maybe for an operation on it, sounds like some injury to be out that time!

On the bright side thats his wages covered by Israel Balance Sheet CSC

A month was bad enough but 5 months is sickening. We really have no luck atm with injuries.

Massive chance for one of Yang/Tilio to step up, and I think they will.

How does that affect the CL squad? Can we add another in?

Don't think so, pretty sure that only applies for Goalkeepers ?

Regarding the length of time he's out for, has this latest (extended) estimated been confirmed by the club, or is it based on the daily record story?? I live abroad by the way, so sorry if I'm asking a daft question and this is being reported by everyone in Scotland, I've only seen reference to the Daily Record.

Probably come at a bad time for Tilio but I'm sure either or both of Yang and Palma can step up.

Its a bit of stretch to blame our set up when a player gets injured on international duty?

Injuries can happen anytime, we've had an unlucky run with them.

Can't remember tho, apart from running KT into the ground, were the amount of injuries an issue during his last tenure? Or at Leicester..

If true, it will likely be after the January break end of that month..

I don’t see how it is a stretch. Injuries can be the result of a build up over a few weeks - not always just a spur of the moment thing.

I think calling it an unlucky run is a bit of stretch. Mid September and we’ve already had CCV, Hatate, Nawrocki, Welsh, Oh, Kobayashi and Abada suffer muscle/ligament/tendon injuries.

2 or 3 injuries? Aye bad luck. But 7 is ridiculous. Particularly with them all being, as far as I’m aware, non-contact related injuries.

Yeah we had a lot of injuries. I remember Dembele in particular. BR has loads of injuries at Leicester too. Their fans were moaning the training was too intense

Real shame for him but this is why we have a squad. We know what Abada can do and he's got a new long-term deal.

Yang, Palma, Tilio's moment to shine.
