I think it's clear he'* his ceiling here. He'd already be gone if Ange was still in charge, I don't actually blame Rodgets wanting to give him a chance, but he's not exactly took it.

I’ve said it before, he offers nothing except the odd goal. Can’t go past a man, has no pace at all, poor touch and very poor decision making. I’d punt right now.

 

He's such a meh player..

Hopefully never be a regular first team player for us..

 

I feel like he's served his purpose here.

Scored some really big goals and deserves to be remerbed fondly for his contributions in the Ange era.

But he's just so limited. You can't have someone who can't beat a man or cross a ball being your winger if you're a team that aspires to do something at the elite level.

 

He can't go past a man with the ball he has to kick it about 10 yards beyond and hope he can get around the defender it's * infuriating as there is definitely a player in there we've seen it in the past.

 

He’s been rubbish playing as a traditional winger his entire time here and often when he isn’t scoring, he’s really not contributing much at all.

In Ange’s system he got goals because Ange instructed him exactly where to be when certain triggers happen in the game. That’s why he had a habit of drifting in from the back post and nabbing goals. Right now we don’t have that.
