He said he has no real pace though

He's terrible against a packed defence though and trying to make something happen. Just hasn't got anything in the locker. No guile/creativity. Doesn't have any skill or ability to go by his man..

Only real thing he has is arriving in the box and getting on the end of things. 1 in 20 crosses finds the target..

 

Said it in the match thread but he was brutal.

He can’t beat his man and his delivery is shocking.

We need better.

 

If we can get good money for him i’d take it and upgrade

 

I don't think he's that quick either tbh, think there's a few in our squad quicker than him for sure.
His crossing is woeful aye. He's got a knack for scoring goals but even then it's in home, easier games. He's a luxury player.

 

If there is genuine interest in him we would be mental not to take an 8 figure offer. He obviously adds something with the numbers he puts up but he’s not a good enough all round player to be the regular starter he wants to be here certainly not with Maeda on the other wing.

All that talk of him not signing a new deal, he would struggle massively in any of the top 5 leagues if he got a move.

He Is quick mate, if you slip him through or in behind in space then you see it..

He just doesn't use it well as he's lacking technically and can't go by a man..

Basically, we could and should be getting better elsewhere..

 

Think he’s an impact player, like others have side slip him a through ball and he will get us goals, he’s proved that the last two seasons but what we need is a natural right winger who can beat a man and cross the ball.

He's so limited in technical ability is frightening...he's a give and go player and brilliant at stealing in at the back post which has me wondering how best to use him...slip him in and he's on to in a flash but the minute he has to face up a defender to take on I never fancy him getting the better of his man.

 

We already have good money in the bank, but the problem is we are not upgrading or replacing quality with like quality.

We can upgrade in any position we choose to, but for some reason the strategy in this window has been to bring in players with less quality who could be as good as that who they are replacing.

 

For me he's quite quick running in to space..

He isn't quick when running with the ball as he's pretty painful technically..

 

48 goal involvments in 101 games despite rarely being a starter and being 21. He quite clearly has attributes and can be an asset to the team when used correctly.

 

Another winger who can’t beat a player and has very little technical ability.

Starting two of them is getting beyond belief.

And I agree about the pace thing. He’s never looked quick.

 

Abada was giving us more than Maeda and he should hand still been on instead. I love Maeda but he was paying like he win a competition today

 

Ya, but would you trust the club to get someone better in (and before the window closes)?? I wouldn’t.

 

I'm starting to see why we went for both Tilio and Jun.

We'll get another winger, but Abada's definitely not guaranteed that RW spot, I think one of Jun/Tilio will take it from him before Christmas.

 

We would probably get decent money for him and replace him with another project type player for a couple of million.
