Along with what Rodgers has said about him, I think it probably does show something meaningful.

He is not as good as Jota all round but I can almost guarantee that he’ll outscore and assist him.

Aye, said this before as well. The flicks and tricks that Jota has in his locker, Abada doesn’t. The ability to set up and score goals he certainly does. His natural instinct of being in the right place for a cut back or a ball fizzed across goals to score is something you can’t teach a player. He has that over Jota. His numbers this season will be incredible on my opinion, because it looks nailed on he is going to be a regular starter I think.

 

I quite like him on the left.

 

I thought him and Bernabei looked good going forward, as Bernabei’s chaos creates space for Abada and also he’s coming in on his good foot to get shots off.

 

He looks like he's got a bit of grit about him, I wasn't bothered if he left before tbh but I think if he's gonna stick around he should still hit big numbers and end up worth a fortune while hopefully propelling us to trophies.

 

Looks like he’s raring to go and could well be a star for us this season. If his confidence and finishing improve he’ll put up big numbers.

Agreed with the above about it being more natural for him and easier when he's arriving in for cut backs and stuff off the left.....should feel a lot more comfortable for him. Was one bit of play tonight where he turned inside past the defender and their keeper made a terrific save..

He isn't exactly a natural dribbler so it should be easier for him off the left cutting in..

 

Been impressed with him, looks sharp and eager.

 

Reckon he's gonna be absolutely brilliant under Rodgers this season.

Has there been any news on how he is after taking that knock. It didn’t look to clever when he was coming off. Hopefully just a precaution as if he goes down we are very light in terms of wingers you would want to be starting the Aberdeen game.

 

Two European clubs are set to make offers for Celtic’s Liel Abada.

One unnamed club from France and one from the German Bundesliga both want to sign the winger.
