The explanation is that if you have watched them both play football you can see the difference in ability and tactical awareness is night and day between the 2. Scales is league of Ireland level and not nor will he ever been good enough for celtic.

Simple fact is that anyone who thinks he’s even close to Taylor never mind a better player is absolutely clueless about football.

It won’t. As long as he’s not Taylor people will try convince themselves he’s any good.

It happened with Montgomery as well.

The funniest thing is I think Taylor is pish and by far our weakest player but he’s also the only LB option that actually works in this team.

Absolutely hopeless last night. Truth is he will never be up to the standard required when it comes to breaking a proper team's press. Hopefully Ange learned that last night.

I didn’t see the game but I didn’t need to, to know this lad is clueless. He doesn’t know where to be let alone when to be where. He’s just guessing at how to play this system and it stands out like dogs balls.

That was dirty and would have been a red card if spotted.

    Good move for him..

Can see that happening. Goodwin regularly shopped about for league of Ireland player's at St Mirren..

Scales is quick. Tall. Fairly versatile and has shown he'd be good enough domestically. Scored 1 or 2 and same assist wise as well if my memory is right?

Just a bit too limited on the ball and doesn't really suit our style at all. Basically just no enough quality for what we need. Positionally isn't great either but think he'd do well at the sheep. Very well infact..

Aberdeen would be a good fit for him. Highly unlikely to sell him off the back of that though, unfortunately.

He doesn't have a future here.

I agree with everything you say there. Going to Aberdeen especially as you say with Jim Goodwin in charge there is a good fit I think. There are times when I think a loan move is good as maybe the player has a future at Celtic but needs game time we cannot provide at that time but in this case I think playing for Aberdeen or teams like that is probably about his level. Time will tell but I just don't see him having a long term future at Celtic.

He's decent in the air. Could see him chipping in with quite a few goals as the sheep will be direct under Goodwin..

If he has a standout season, which i think he could do with them.....I could see us getting our money back at least..
