Definitely is. CCV his one thing that annoys me is he never is, he dominates at attacking the ball defending corners. Is rarely close to attacking it the other end. Engel’s delivery at corners is actually exceptional, we need to find out how to use that.

BR’s teams have always felt like set pieces etc are an afterthought and don’t get any real practice or structure about them. Only need to look at Arsenal this season and how they made a point to make one of their weak points last year a weapon, BR developed as a manager at a time set pieces were sneered on as shouldn’t need to rely on them and criticised teams that would win games not through silky football but set pieces. Tika Taka sort of *.

But we get so many corners generally, facing teams with ten men in the box, an abnormal level on average compared to other teams it’s something we need to develop.

And * me, biggest bug bear is when we take a short corner, we have no plan for after the guy receives it. Ever. It does my * in

Aye always have the impression that Rodgers sees himself as too stylish a coach to want to score goals from set pieces.

Although at least he puts the work into defending them.

Ange never bothered his * doing either

He looks sluggish IMO, that’s the last 2 games you’ve seen him towing a caravan.

At least he's towing it forwards. Trusty and CCV struggle moving the ball out when they play together, although I do think CCV is slowly improving on that recently.

We lack creativity in midfield. Scales at least increases options bringing it out from the back. Without that we play side to side too often and the midfield gets squeezed.

No getting on his back, just an observation. He’s still toiling to get back to match fitness is my guess but it’s noticeable how much slower he looks running back towards goal.

He should be starting with CCV till the end of the season now. I still can't take to him and think we could easily improve on him and Trusty but he's more than earned his way back in now! to be fair he could start playing like Nesta and I still wouldn't take to him, must be the daft hair cut :56:

Genuinely don't want to see him starting for us again. Maybe ok for a squad player. Not a regular. Our weak link.

Tough one imo because Trusty has been outstanding in Europe but I think Scales has been a lot more comfortable domestically.

I think its a position i’d be looking to upgrade in.

Need another CB in the summer.

Yep manager has to stop chopping and changing and stick with the player he spent big money on and who has more room for development.

We aren't ever gonna sign the finished articles due to our budget so we sign guys with certain qualities and then look to develop them while coaching them to improve. Its essentially why we are paying Rodgers big money.

I thought he was awful today, a really poor performance.

I get Trusty lacks consistency domestically, but he's a far better player than Scales.

Need a CB in the summer either way but Trusty should be starting the final 4 games.

You would think raskin was the same height and build as haaland of man city how easy he wins headers in our box it's a * joke he has scored 2 goals when one was chopped off for being offside today but it's not good enough.

Said it a million times before he's simply not good enough to be starting for us.

Think it's clear BR doesn't have total faith in him or Trusty. 100% need a new CB in

Im not sure i agree, but i understand where you are coming from, but This is kind of my point. Rangers are way better than most domestically and then you can clearly see that Scales does not cut it. Trusty should be ahead of him every day of the week. Agree that we beed to strenghten though. We need beats in the team again.

He's a liabilty. Positioning all over the place, weak as * and that diving in has been a part of him game for as long as he's played as well.

Trusty isn't the answer either. Need probably 2 x centre backs signed in the summer.

It is fantastic that we get found out at some positions like Scales get found out yesterday yet again. Makes it easier to know where to strengthen in the summer.

His centre back slot is the position we can improve most in the team I feel. Hes fine as squad player that can be rotated in for SPL teams. But against better opposition hes a weak link.

Unfortunately we have had about 5 attempts at filling this centre back slot which have all failed seemingly. Think we need to bite the bullet and go and sign someone thats proven calibre now rather than a project style player.

I've given him credit for his good performances, but how many big games does he lose his man? Raskin should never be a threat to us in the air.
