Liam Scales

Some * was saying he's better than CCV and never made big mistakes. He had a purple patch a year ago, although I think being Irish helps him with some of our fans.

Why did he always take about 3 touches, look around and then pass? The huns just closed him down.

 

He had a shocker. No idea why he’s playing over Trusty.

 

Hopefully puts an end the Trusty Scales debate.. it isn't one. CCV Trusty is the partnership.

 

Nah mate, not in the slightest.. he's had outstanding games for us and some shockers I don't think his nationality figures at all, same with Idah. He will be the scapegoat today Irish or not

Worst performance I can remember from a player in a long time

 

If playing out from the back goes through this numpty, it's not travelling very far. Would play Trusty over him at every opportunity.

 

His hair triggers me.

 

Shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team again.

 

That was genuinely unacceptable.

I’m not gonna go crazy because after hounding him all last season, I think he’s been exceptional this season.

That, though, was genuinely a * disgraceful performance.

 

I have nothing against Liam Scales as a person or as a defender(as in his actual defending) but he simply does not have the ability on the ball to play the passing-game that BR appears to insist upon. How he wasn't hooked at HT only BR will know. Trusty was playing well and from what I've seen is better on the ball than Scales so why the manager has dumped him I can't imagine.

 

He was awful but the BIG question is why did Brendan leave him on - I actually thought he should have been subbed off BEFORE half time to prevent further damage. Was very surprised to see him trot out at the start of the 2nd half and was even more surprised when he wasn't taken off in the first round of subs.

Brendan dropped the ball there unless he was deliberately trying to lose

 

The only Celtic player of recent times I've hated more than Ryan Christie, quite the achievement.


This * needs to get to *. He's a livi or Morton level player. Never every good enough for us.

Think today was his worst performance for Celtic, maybe time to move him on to a team in the championship.
