Would love to see such an attacking side like that but BR just seems so rigid with his formation.

Massive tonight, pull aside gave us far better passing out the back!

It was a masterstroke by Brendan bringing Scalesy on at HT.
It turned the tide for us, calmed us, and improved us with Scales's passing from the back.
He is such a Celtic man too, I love him.

Thought he was good and made a difference but Jesus * when he pulled Cerny’s shorts in ET it could’ve been so costly. Seen stills and it looked like he was on the line too so very, very fortunate.

There were one or two mistakes he made, but I thought we were so much better bringing the ball forward when he was brought on.

Was a masterstroke by Rodgers tbh.

He's not necessarily someone youd think of bringing on for his passing ability but was a good sub and he done really well

Aye i thought it was strange from Rodgers at first, i thought that it was an injury, but in hindsight it was really clever. Everytime Trusty had the ball it was just going to CCV or the full back or even the keeper. Scales had his head up every time looking for a forward pass.

I think he's just a different type of defender, Trusty likes to play out wide and can run with the ball, but both CCV and Scales are excellent at bringing it through the middle.

Rodgers saw how our midfield was nullified, and most managers would have just brought Engels straight on, but we have an Elite manager who knew exactly what to do, and it worked a treat.

I'd still have Trusty ahead of Scales but there's not much in it, we have 3 excellent CB's at the club, and Scales isn't the sort of player who'll be bemoaning that he's third choice.

Thought he made a difference and zipped the ball about well which has been one of my biggest criticisms of him. Wasn't perfect with that cross he shelled out and the Cerny incident but aye made a difference!

Really tough coming into a game like that as a CB, thought he dealt with it well.

Thought he was excellent when he came on, sped up the play from the back and was tidier than Trusty on the ball.

Couple of dodgy passes but thought he was good overall, solid with most balls into the box and more positive passes forward than from Trusty when he was on. Difficult to choose between the two at the moment.

Been saying that's the difference between him and Trusty for a while. Trusty's other attributes give him an edge up to now but wonder if Rodgers will reconsider or this is a one off.

Regardless, great to have this level of competition for places and thought Scales coming on was a real turning point.

Was a bit rusty when he made the challenge, but was unlucky not to score himself.
