Scales getting himself sent off so he can focus more on our title charge. Well played son.

Silly foul. Like watching a crash in slow mo Bellingham take it down and cut inside.

The catalyst for an Irish humping.

Was disappointing that Scales spotted the runner so late, left himself so much ground to make up.

Was it not also the fact they were down to 10 men?

Got a decent rest for the second half.

    Good.

50 minutes with Scales = 0 goals conceded.

    40 minutes without Scales = Lose 5-0...

    The Irish Rodri. :notworthy

Aye probably. Just seemed a bit harsh that it was quick feet that done him and a penalty..

Getting the marching orders just seems slightly harsh..

Not convinced Trusty is better at all. Scales far more involved in bringing us out from the back in games like tonight for me.

I feel for Scales too, he has done absolutely nothing wrong, and I agree with you he is better at bringing the ball out from the back, and also good for getting headed goals up front. But Trusty has the edge on speed and accerelation which is crucial in the more important games, and we did * £6M on him too.

Thought Trusty wasn't really involved at all tonight. He's definitely been good in the CL games but can't keep on playing that way and expect to start.

    Seriously?

He defended well and, bar that one brain fart in the second half, his distribution was absolutely fine.

He moves the ball so much quicker than Scales and passes with real power and purpose.

Everything Scales does, Trusty does better. Plus he has pace and power that Scales lacks.
