Yeah, I completely agree with your post bud. :50: It’s not a negative point at all, it’s just putting things into the correct perspective.

You wouldn’t wish this affliction on anyone really, it’s such a cruel *, and for him at such a young age as well, really tragic.

No hate for the guy at all. It was a blow at the time but he made a move that would be extremely difficult to turn down in all honesty.

Hope he recovers well. Pancreatic cancer can be one of the worst types but he had to stay strong and fight through it as best he can.

Even when he left back in 2004(?) I never once felt any hate for him. I remember that clearly.

Anyways that's all irrelevant now either way. Thoughts with liam and family at this time.

always remember the DR on the thursday morning. "guess what i did on my day off" and there he was walking through the doors at man utd. really hated him at that time as i saw him as deserting the club that had looked after him during his injury's.

don't have any bad feelings towards him, i hope he makes a full and speedy recovery from this illness. my prayers will go to him and his family during what must be a very difficult and stressful time. * bless liam.

I hope he can make it, watching someone younger than yourself die of cancer (my younger sister) is the biggest kick in the balls you will ever get.

10% of people who suffer from pancreatic cancer do survive. it does not boil down to the medical attention you can afford , it boils down to your body and how it can fight this * of a killer .

Patrick Swayze was a fit man with with millions at his disposal and couldnt beat it. liam is younger and fitter so i hope he can beat it.

I read a statement from the American team he was coaching that it’s a actually esophageal cancer and he has undergone chemo.

There was a huge difference between the circumstances of his departure and Wanyama etc but that doesn't matter now. We'll all rally behind him and hope for the best. I think most of us have probably been in a similar scenario and know how difficult this will be for him and his family.

Wee suggestion here. Would you bhoys be willing to raise a wee bit of money to send something his way? I'm sure someone within the club would be able to pass it along. I was thinking something like a shirt with his name and number. I know it's not much but to see that the support is there from the group who've probably given him the most * over the years are behind him could be a wee boost for him mentally.
