    Lawrence would add balance to our midfield on one side with mcgeady on the other, hes got good set peice delivey not a bad shot and can cross a ball!!

    According to The Sentinel, Stoke have opened formal negotiations with Celtic over the sale of Liam Lawrence for around £2million.

    I have watched him when he played for sunderland and he is utter pants! i have many friends who are sunderland supporters and are laughing at me due tot he fact we might sign him from stoke. the only decent thing he has ever done was the amaure * video he was in!

    I havnt had a chance as he hardly gets a game for stoke these days, Hence he wants a move. I am not saying hes terrible but harldy a player to get excited about.

    How many years ago was he at Sunderland?? A good few and in that time he has improved as a player, which you do when you get more experience and play reugular games. Since he has been at stoke he has put in some accomplished performances in the championship, premiership and also on the international secene aswell!
