If we got him, I wonder would Aiden go to another club or would Aiden play on the right, with this guy on the left?

Maloney is never fit, so we still have room for another winger.

Think they meant they won't be giving him away for under the asking price so if we pay the 1.5m I'm pretty sure they will let him join.

You're right Mick. For some unknown reason I wanted Stoke to be Hull City for a few seconds.

    Doh! thanks for the correction.

Anyway, he still claims the reason why he wants to switch club is that he wants to be first team regular, so he don't gets pulled out of the irish national team

I know mate but I dont think getting kept out that squad is the worst thing to be honest becuase Tuncay isnt a regular in that team and I would take him in a second for Celtic. Plus the likes of Matthew Etherington would keep our wingers out of a team and players like Delap obv just for his throw ins and Whithead the team captain keep him out but I think he is out the team because he is a luxury for stoke which they cant afford because there whole thing is about defensive solid team so maybe having two out and out wingers isnt a good thing for them. I just wouldnt hold it against him mate but obviously I do see where your coming from.

I've seen Lawrence play quite a bit for Ireland. He attacks well, think the comments earlier about him tracking back may be somewhat correct, however he can attack well.

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle says he would love to link up with his international team-mate Liam Lawrence at Molineux if he leaves Stoke City. Lawrence, like Doyle, scored in the Republic of Ireland's 2-1 win over Paraguay and has said he would work with Wolves boss Mick McCarthy again.
"I love playing with Liam. He's a very nice lad as well," Doyle said.
"I wouldn't be surprised [if Wolves were interested in Lawrence] but he'd be a very good signing for us."
Lawrence, 28, was signed by McCarthy while he was in charge at Sunderland and has been with Stoke for the last three and a half years following a loan spell.
He expects to leave Stoke this summer but has played down reports that he is set to join Wolves despite being interested in a switch.

    Found this on bbc website.

Trappatoni seems to prefer him to Mcgeady. Lawrence on one side and Ledley/Bullard on the other?? After we get shot ae Mcgeady of course.

I think most premiership players would rather remain there if they can. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move to Wolves.

Rep Ire are a completely different proposition than Celtic. Celtic have to attack alot more than ireland. He is in that team for his defensive qualities as well as going forward. Mcgeady, for me, has bags more skill and is better going forward.

It shouldn't be a discussion about letting McGeady go or not. It should be a discussion who you're wants to pare with McGeady on the pitch.

I wouldn't mind Lawrance or Ledley to compete with Maloney, McCourt, McGinn, Caddis and Fortuné for the wing position. But McGeady is key.
