Wasn't man of the match for me. Was utterly hopeless first half..

Had a real change of heart over him the last year. Used to really rate him, maybe too much..... He's nowhere near as purposeful as he was in his breakthrough season's. If we got a half decent offer I'd maybe punt him..

Henderson is a very good and under rated player, witness this game for Scotland and last year's Cup Final.

I think Henderson may be in Brendan's plans for Saturday, because Biton is not doing it at the moment.

Actually it's not, they're joint top with Iceland ahead of the likes of France and Ukraine.

Never saw the game mind you, I hope he gets a chance as I like him.

Think long term be is a better option than mcgregor on the middle with a guy like bitton. Not sure if he has what it takes to be a first teamer, but for me I think he has more to his game for that position than mcgregor. If only he will learn what to do with the final ball. Often saw him at hibs with a dreadful final ball.

Henderson is a better fit in that midfield than either Biton or McGregor.
He is a ball winner and knows what to do with it.

Think he deserves a chance. Stronger in midfield than Armstrong or McGregor, would provide more protection for defence, can hit a decent delivery and mobile

Aye he really does deserve a go of it starting, Wednesday would be the perfect game.

Can't see him starting, but would certainly like him to get a good run out. I still think there's more to come from him.

Should be playing. Better than either McGregor or Bitton at the moment.
My three in the middle would be Brown, Armstrong and Henderson, with Rogic being rotated or used as a sub.

Celtic players always magically improve when they're out of the team.

Bitton and McGregor are both more accomplished footballers than Henderson right now, that's why they've been making appearance and Henderson hasn't.

Rogic rotating or used as a sub? Come on tae * mate. Arguably one of our best players so far this season and you want him as a sub. Have a word, you must be on the wind up again.

One of the options you suggested was a sub. That's not misquoting. I don't care enough to like or dislike you hen, just take exception to some of the pish you spout, and that you can be a condescending *. :50:

Accomplished in that both have represented Celtic in the Champions League and the Europa League on several occasions, and both have been selected ahead of Henderson for several years.

I know that logic isn't an exact science, but when more than one manager regularly picks those players over Henderson - who I rate highly - then you have to accept there might be a reason why that is the case.

Good points but I don't accept anything carte blanche. Yes Bitton was a player under Lenny, but not so much under Ronny when his form seemed to taper off to reaching the zenith of disinterest in the Cup Semi, and we have seen the same lack of intent and interest from Bitton this year already too.
McGregor appears to be just a journeyman midfielder to me, a bit lightweight for my liking and devoid of defensive capabilities.Maybe Brendan is waking up to Bitton at least because he didn't play him on Sunday.
Henderson would provide a motor and tenacity and good delivery beside Brown.Armstrong and Rogic rotated in central midfield too, but Rogic dozen't seem to last the full ninety minutes, hence why he could also be used as a sub.

Bitton didn't start under Lenny, very sporadically used as a sub. Wouldn't say he was in any kind of form. Started to really come in to his own 2014-2015.
